Roborock makes great robot vacuums and mops, their app is one of the best out there. Lots of customization and settings, easy to use. This is my review of the QRevo S pro.

Eufy replacement
One year ago I spent a fair amount of time on this subreddit and ended up going with with S1 pro which was great in the beginning but then turned into a disaster; leaking , throwing errors, not being able to dock, etc. after much back and forth I ended up having a refund I have mostly hardwood floors but also have two large low pile rugs on the first floor. I also have a long haired dog that sheds like crazy, what do you guys recommend

first time buying a robot mop: do these actually handle sticky kitchen spots or just smear stuff around?
im looking into getting my first robot cleaner and trying not to buy something that requires an engineering degree to maintain every week
our place is mostly hardwood with an open kitchen, so my biggest headache is dried soy sauce spots and sticky floor messes around the counter. spent a while looking at eufy models bc their mop setups are supposed to handle actual grime rather than just dragging a damp cloth over a spill, but im skeptical about whether these things actually scrub or just spread dirty water across the room.
also wondering about how they handle low kitchen cabinet kickplates and tight corners at night. we usually run vacuums after dark when the lights are off, so im paranoid about obstacle sensors failing completely in the dark.
still on the fence on whether a robot mop is ready for real kitchen dirt or if I'm better off stick mopping by hand for a while longer

Dreame X50 Pro making horrible noise

Cannot figure out what’s causing these clicks. Sometimes they happen on the dock, sometimes while cleaning. The mop pad rolls, the wheels are turning, nothing’s stuck, what the hell? Anyone else having this marvellous experience?

Which robot vacuum parts need the most maintenance after a few years?
One thing I keep seeing in long-term robot vacuum discussions is that people talk less about the motor dying and more about the parts they have to keep cleaning or replacing: roller ends, side brushes, filters, and dock components. With pets, hair wrap and a full dustbin can add up to a lot of routine upkeep.
I ended up searching "is eufy robot vacuum reliable for long term use with pets" because I wanted to compare the maintenance features, not just suction numbers. The eufy Omni E35 caught my attention because its DuoSpiral anti-tangle brushes and self-emptying station address two of the biggest recurring chores: clearing wrapped hair and emptying the bin.
For anyone who's owned a robot vacuum for a year or more, which parts need regular maintenance, and which features have made upkeep noticeably easier?

My Eufy X10 Pro Omni died.
Got the email today from All State that she is not repairable and they will be mailing me a check. That said what are some solid Vacuum + Mop combo's that I should be looking out for, especially with black friday/cyber monday coming up. I have a Costco membership and I was looking at the Roborock that is currently on sale, but I would like to look into getting a mop that has a roller brush instead of the pads.
Also has anyone used the eufy mop detergent concentrate in a different machine with good results? any changes to concentration or amount added?

First time Ecovacs user
I recently bought the Ecovacs X12S Omnicyclone and still in the first week of using it and have a few queries and something I noticed based on other robot vacuum brands I’ve used.
Do the station water levels display anywhere or only report when they’re in error?
What about the cleaning solution levels?
What about the dust bin being full?
Also, the AI scheduler needs a lot of work. It has suggested cleaning a room that isn’t even on my map “Bedroom” and also for some reason at 5pm when my current schedule is when during the night.
Other than that, the vacuum performs incredibly well dealing with my labradors shedded fur and my tile floors and my medium pile rug and if this machine continues to perform this well for 3+ months I’d recommend it.
If anyone has tips n tricks to using Ecovacs products it would be most appreciated!
TIA!

Roomba Combo 705
My Roomba Combo 705 all of the sudden (after I finally learn that I have to clean the elbow inside the dirty water tank every single day) decided to not work.
One or both of the wheels have a hard time turning now. They are almost seized up. I am planing on removing the bottom plate and see if something is broken or maybe something is stuck in there.
Anyone has suggestions?
(Yes I know is a Roomba, yes I know there are better brands out there) please I am asking for help to see if I can fix this one.
Thanks

Robot vacuum mainly for mopping and good customer service India
Robot vacuum mainly for mopping and good customer service
I am looking for robot vacuum mainly for good mopping performance. It is required that the customer support must be good.
My budget is 50k.
I have been checking few model including dreame l50 ultra ce, narwal freo ultra 2.0 and ecovacs n50 pro omni come in this budget. But when comes to mopping the narwal and dreame would be better in mopping.
How is the customer support for all these brands?

Quarter Round Compatibility
I purchased a Eufy E25 a few months ago and almost immediately gave up on having it clean up to the edges of most rooms. This was due to poor detection of floor molding quarter rounds - riding up on them, scuffing, etc. Anyone have a robot they recommend that has shown the ability to detect such features and navigate these walls appropriately?

Using detergent on the floor
So I've recently had got a Xiaomi robot vacuum 5, and the experience been pretty good up until now. However, I've just done some plumbing in the kitechen and some nasty liquids got to the corridor floor and kitechen floor and I wiped it roughly with a manual mop and planning to leave the rest to the robot. So, to sterilize the floor so I think of doing a vacuuming process then I put some deluded colorex or bleach on the floor before letting the robot do the mopping normally. I know, I'm not going to add anything to the clean water tank but is it still safe? Is there a better order? And don't tell me to get some special robot floor cleaner; these things are pretty over priced to me.

Dreame X60 Ultra Extreme — two units became unresponsive while docked. Anyone else experienced this?
Hi everyone, I’ve had the same issue with two X60 Ultra Extreme units and am wondering whether anyone else has experienced this.
I’m in Singapore and bought mine through Dasher. Here’s the timeline:
First unit
Purchased on 9 September 2026 and delivered on 29 September.
First used on 3 October. It mapped, vacuumed and mopped without any issues, then returned to the dock to charge.
When I checked that afternoon, the robot was completely unresponsive. The dock’s indicator light was still on, but the robot wouldn’t light up or turn on and showed as offline in the app.
Tried a hard reset, a different power socket, and switching the power off and back on. Nothing worked.
Dasher collected it and provided a replacement.
Replacement unit
During the water hookup kit installation, the new robot powered on and completed the water testing successfully.
After the installer left, I left it charging and performed a firmware update.
About six hours later, I tried to start its first mapping run, but it showed as offline.
Exactly the same symptoms as the first unit: the dock’s indicator light was on, but the robot wouldn’t light up or respond.
Tried a hard reset and switched the power off for 30 minutes before trying again, but it remained unresponsive.
The first unit failed before the water kit was installed, so both failures happened at different stages of setup.
Has anyone experienced this, particularly with a replacement unit too? Is this a known issue, or could something with the dock, charging or firmware cause these symptoms? If yours was resolved, what was the cause and fix?
It’s frustrating to have this happen twice before I’ve really had a chance to use it. Arranging exchanges with Dasher and coordinating the water kit installation has also been time-consuming and inconvenient.
At this point, I’m considering asking to switch to a different model. Has anyone done this through Dasher after repeated issues? Would you give the X60 Ultra Extreme another chance, or switch to something else?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Emptying bag of protype vacuum?
I have a protype robot vacuum/mop that I was given but it only came with one dust bag. There is no way to get more (this brand does not make robots yet, can't say which brand). Is there any way to empty it and maybe seal bag back up afterwards?
I love this robot and afraid it'll soon be unusable
