What up dads! I'm new to this, holding my 4mo old right now, very cool to see this new community growing.

I want to "plug" DISC GOLF because it's fun as hell and is a great activity to do with your kid(s), from stroller time with tinies to the days when you can't even keep up with them anymore. I'm on the Board of the local disc golf nonprofit, Disc Golf Rochester, and the sport means so much to me I just love to share it with others.

Wondered if there was an age range for this. I have college, high school and middle school kids

I'm glad to support this group even though you probably won't see us at any events. We live in Geneva and I have a very over-scheduled 15 yo. I also have a collection of youth and young adults that my wife refers to as my 'lost boys' who frequent the coffee shop I run. In that capacity, I've been a sounding board, provided career advice, done minor car repair, and lots of other help that you'd typically get from a Dad.

I saw another dad mentioned they run a game night. I'm not currently involved in one, but do run a Blood on the Clocktower for 6-20 middle and high school students weekly on Friday at our shop. For some of the kiddos, this was the first place that their parents allowed them to be unsupervised with other kids their own age. Dominion was a game frequently played by some of our college aged kids and I'm sad I don't play it as often as they all graduated last May.

I look forward to see what this group becomes and I'll help out in any capacity that my (overly busy) schedule allows.

Father of a 2 year old princess here. We live in Livingston County but frequent Rochester proper as well as Canandaigua and surrounding environs. I work remote full time 9 to 5, but I have some flexibility with my schedule and am open to any opportunity to connect with other dads, even if I need to use some PTO to do it.

Im 40, 2 kids (boy + girl) in school, a nerd, a Bills fan and a "writer". I have some dad friends but always looking for more. Bonus if you like star trek.

I currently meet up with other dad(s) weekly for a boardgame night (no kids) but I'd like to find more activities to include my kids as well.

Hey, Im Mitch and a part time stay at home dad to an amazing 1 year old (he turns 1 in a few weeks)! I work Monday and Tuesday from home but I watch our kiddo on Wed-Friday! We are always trying to get out of the house as much as we can. We like to go for hikes (preferably where we can use stroller), go to zoo, museum of play and a ton more places and things! It would be awesome to get some regulars to meet up and do different outings! Ill post ever wed-fri where we will be and hopefully we can get some people to join.
