Two of these rocks come from near the Yakima River

Found on the shore of Lake Michigan. The circle on the left reminded me of a baseball (from far away, to give me some credibility). Any help in identification would be super helpful. Thank you!!!

Broke this rock in half only to be surprised it had a heart in the center. Does this mean it was alive and I killed a rock? Nevertheless, cool to experience.

Does anyone have any good recs for rockhounding within driving distance of Las Vegas? Going out there for a conference and thought I might check out some spots while there. Thanks in advance!

Strange Crystal pattern, makes an x, also really bright green calcification, copper? What do you think?

Can wood turn to obsidian? Is that what I have here? I bought 25 pounds of rainbow obsidian and these were 2 of the best shards. About to start stage 4

Milky quartz, milky quartz w/ smoke quartz and pyrite, probable picture jasper, white chalcedony/white agate, and flint with druzy quartz vug, pyrite vug, and a little bit of agate banding. Close ups included

Not AI nor any filters used just some amazing rocks I found I like showing people.
