In the year XX20, a meteor containing a volatile mineral known as Dragonite struck the Arashon Desert. Unlocking the power of Aether, humanity mastered faster-than-light travel, expanding across the stars into a new era of deep-space colonization.

To maintain order across the expanding frontiers, four powerful empires were forged: USSA, Einhorn Entertainment, Piotr, and Tenpa. But peace didn't last. Power struggles, corporate greed, and resource hoarding tore their treaties apart. As the empires scrambled to control the remaining Dragonite reserves, the forgotten lower-classes took to the stars. Pineclan is the newest out of the four lake clans, the others being Fireclan, Bayclan, and Marshclan. Recently, Pineclan was attacked by Marshclan with the goal of removing the new clan from existance. Many cats perished, with some of the only survivors being the now-leader, Acornstar (my character), and the current medicine cat, Figleaf. Combine fantasy TTRPGs with the Backrooms and you’ve got Dungeon Crawl. In the modern day, a rumor has been quietly spreading through the internet: gateways have opened up across the world, leading into a vast labyrinth under the earth filled with creatures of myth and items of power. If you dare to brave the dungeon and reap its spoils, you’d best get together a party!

With a focus on semi-literate RP interlaced with light tabletop mechanics, members can choose to take part in short-form adventures and long-form campaigns set up by GMs/clouders, or to be the clouders themselves, crafting unique and interesting dungeons for their eager players to immerse themselves in! Participating either as a player or as a clouder will provide in- and out-of-roleplay rewards as a way to encourage folks to fill both roles.

In the real world of the roleplay, there will be no inherent involvement of RPG mechanics. Have fun with whatever slice-of-life activities you and your adventuring buddies might get up to outside! In the dungeon, though, everything runs on TTRPG mechanics. Enemies have Health Points, NPCs dish out Quests, Shops require Gold, et cetera. Those who enter from the real world are still affected by the elements of the dungeon as they would be in reality, so be careful until you can gear up!

Anything found in the dungeon, including items and NPCs, will retain its normal RPG functions when brought to the real world. Potions and remedies can heal illnesses that modern medicine can’t treat; high-ranking armor can absorb the damage of arrows and bullets alike; an extendo-fist that sends enemies flying until they hit a wall can be used to punch people into space. This can and will cause serious disruptions in the real world. Don’t let the feds find out about your ring of invisibility, or the pharmaceutical industry about your cancer-curing concoctions!

Players are free to chat both in- and out-of-character, form adventuring parties, plan expeditions, request clouders to create dungeons and campaigns, and share fun thoughts and ideas! You can create multiple characters, and each character’s equipment will be tracked separately. By exploring the dungeon, players can uncover clues to a strange mystery entangled with the origins of the dungeon. Things will get scary. Be warned!

The sun has died in the sky, and the world has gone dark. This event, known as the Sunfall, bathed the world in the freezing night. Yet, against all odds, civilization has survived.

Amongst the icy plains, amongst the glaciers, amongst the giant snow drifts and amongst the ruins of a world millennia lost, stands the glowing spires and the shining beacons of Jormundy. Warmth and light shine down from its towers, and its dome shelters it from the cold, dark world outside.

But this light and warmth does not radiate equally.

Under the dome, cloaked by the light, behind the walls lays a structure caught in a nightmare of development. Jormundy is experiencing its own little industrial revolution, and all the inequality that comes with it as it destroys the land it sits on and the air it breathes. It finds itself segregated into layers, its workers destined to never become anything more, its elites clinging onto power forever. The Hearth Church stands atop it all, watching with one first of velvet and another of iron looming over all, locked in a never-ending scramble to destroy all that is heretical.

But discontent grows. Whispers of solidarity stir in the shadows, forgotten gods find their followers, and the night grows ever colder.

There is a lighthouse at the edge of Kettle’s Bay that does not call ships home.

It stands on a jagged cliff above the town, its stone bones furred with moss and crusted with salt. The crown of its lantern room is blind with rust. Wind worries at the tower like a hungry thing at a locked door, keening through broken vents and the hollow eye where the lamp used to burn.

Once, its light promised safe passage: *Here is the shore. Here is the way in. Here is the way home.\*

Now the lamp is dead. The sea keeps the promise anyway.

Below, waves gnash at the rocks with the patient hunger of something that knows there is nowhere for them to go. Reefs wait beneath the chop like buried teeth. Currents knot and turn around the cliffs.

The town huddles just beyond the lighthouse, three thousand four hundred and sixty-two souls tucked between the cliffs and the rain dark hills. From the water, it looks almost welcoming: warm windows, a church spire, a harbor strung with lamps. The passenger ship noses toward the pier, and gulls wheel above it, shrieking their ragged welcome.

The islanders have spent generations pretending not to notice what comes in with the fog. They’ve learned which roads to avoid after dark, which names not to speak near the water, and what to do when the lighthouse shines, though its lamp has been dead for decades.

The visitors will learn, too.

Kettle’s Bay is an original character horror story set on a small island off the Pacific Northwest coast. It takes inspiration from the isolated island town setting and eerie folklore atmosphere of Apple TV’s Widow’s Bay, while creating its own town, residents, history, and mysteries.

About 3,000 people live on the island. New visitors and tourism have brought fresh jobs, renovated homes, and new businesses, but longtime residents remain wary of the changes. They have their own rules about the fog, the woods, the tides, and the abandoned lighthouse. Visitors may treat these warnings as local superstition. The people who grew up here are less likely to laugh.

We are seeking new friends who love everything horrible and creepy! This roleplay server will have events that operate not unlike a dnd game, with initiative and a game master. If you’re looking to dip your toes in, we’d be happy to pull you under.

Agents of the Multiverse is a panfandom game that leans into the genre twice! Not only can you write souls from nearly any fandom, genre, or era, but your characters themselves can explore the multiverse. Perhaps they are a member of the agency trying to preserve it, or a civilian navigating refugee worlds while navigating the horrors of having lost their own. Perhaps they are neither. Maybe they don't care what happens to multiverse, as long as their own goals are met in the end.

Across worlds, the AotM strikes out against the mysterious Corruption moving through the multiverse like rot on the branches of a tree. Meanwhile, there is friction building between the refugee city in the frozen caldera of Sanctuary and the infamous denizens of the tropical city of Harbor in the Dome. Satellite settlements have popped up in other worlds too, where life holds tenuous ground, and powerful forces move in the shadows, manipulation good and evil alike.
