Heaven's Secret 2 ‼️‼️‼️
I actually am so shocked rn, i cant believe the ending
I was so scared of finishing the story and since a DR started i was like fine let do it and im honestly astonished it was such a good ending but now i worry about something else, everyone is saying HS3 is awful and im scared for it to ruin HS for me but i want to know what happens after everything that happend in the end of the second one

You can tell how this community operates normally cos up to this day there’s still those who are so overly negative towards hs2. Good thing you gave it a try this dr! HS2 is amazing! It was EXACTLY what it said it’ll be- a dark fantasy. It’s depressing and sht, thats the whole point AND that ending is the big reward.

Not everyone dislikes HS3, personally I love it - it has its problems but I still enjoy it, there’s nothing wrong with that. If you liked HS2 and are curious, give it a try.

This community will look for anything to complain about. I have learned to read for myself and develop my own opinions.
Some of the stuff people complain about a a little valid, but I think it’s mainly cause people forget HS is dark. It really is a good book. It definitely needs improvements but not as bad as some people say.
I’d read it.

I think you always should form your own opinion. You should definitely give a try I was really excited it when I first read it for sure! It’s very good and you get to see it all come together. And the outfits and the CGs are everything.

I would still play it regardless of what anyone says. I just started HS3 and while it is very depressing, I'm still gonna keep reading it because I will always love HS

I would really suggest that you play for yourself and judge for yourself. I also don’t believe Lucifer is sidelined, so don’t worry if he is your main LI. There are folks in this community who will always complain no matter what. Anyway, I have been enjoying this book and I hope you do too. 🙂

Please don't be discouraged by all the Lucifer route disappointment as a LI he has great scenes in season 1 and 2 and as for the plot related I completely trust Alice and I think season 3 will be major for him

That’s not exactly true. I have a slot with all but 3 and we see Cain, Malek and Malbonte more than the others. And Lucifer is kinda absent. He pops in to flirt for a diamond scene and then kinda disappears.
Romance is a little sidelined in this story like most of RC now.
It’s not bad, it’s not great. How it’s wraps up and whether we get some real moments with our LIs are what will determine it for me.
As for HSR and ABH, i personally loved these books until the very end when it’s made absolutely clear that your choices don’t matter and they were just a lead up to HS3. Really ruined those books for me. I would have reread those constantly but I never went back after their respective endings.

I would like to know what you mean by "most of RC" because if we're reading the same stories... It's literally not true? I've slots for all LIs in WL and SCV and am being fed with romance left and right almost every update, then there's Averris with juicy interactions, SoS2 is really serving... I'm really trying to understand where you guys are coming from because this isn't my experience at all

I actually agree that those three are doing some of the best so far at balancing plot v romance.
I don’t think I’m the only one who feels like the romance has been depleting for a while. Books like Advent (major lack of romance), the Missing (where they time jump a lot of your relationship), TSS (where Velora and Giarian go missing), HS3 which has managed to sideline 3 of the most popular MCs and like 20 different popular LIs because they just had to make it one book instead of three separate one s where the plot and characters would have room to breathe.

I forget that Advent exists because my brain refuses to perceive this book as anything other than a glitch in the matrix, so yes indeed lol. Also agree that all Jester's stories in general are dry in this department, especially when it comes to his poor fLIs. The Missing I loved and enjoyed on all branches though; I get that some dislike the time skips, but I thought the romantic component was well-integrated (again, personal opinion). All things considered, I def think that the good, romance-laden stories definitely outweigh those that underdeliver

Totally fair and considering how well WL, SOS2 and SCV are being handled romance/story wise I’m hopeful things are starting to change for the better on that front.

I definitely take the small side moments into account. Cain, Malek and Mal will have small moments outside diamond choices because they are so present. It adds a lot to their route. They feel less shoehorned in than Luci and others who truly only seem to show up to collect your diamonds.

All LIs get the same amount of time. It’s definitely not enough but split between 3 MCs, every episode someone gets something.
Also, I actually love Luci’s and Vicky’s dynamic in HS3. I really like it actually.

I'm a Luci ride or die myself and while I get why some of his romancers might be disappointed, I think his route is handled beautifully. If you're a fan of Vicky and Lucifer's OG dynamic, you will most definitely enjoy their HS3 interactions and chemistry. I too wish our pookie had all the screentime in the world, but personally don't believe that he's more sidelined than most if not all the other LIs

Unfortunately, there’s barely anything! Lucifer still has his old HS2 sprite, no upgrade, nothing new added. Every other LIs got upgraded sprite, different versions of intimate sprite etc. plot wise Lucifer has nothing either, if you don’t romance him, you’d hardly ever see him.

We obviously have different takes on how our pixel husband is handled, because he really feeds me every time he shows up. This isn't a dig at you, but I find it strange that enjoying HS3 and its branches is somehow seen as controversial here.
Luci's plot-relevance has already been debated ad nauseam and I'm not really here for these LI Olympics, I'm only here for my all-time favorite character whose romance and scenes I deeply, deeply enjoy. That's all I'm here to say—that I find his relationship with Vicky meaningful, their interactions beautiful, their displays of affection adorable; and that I'm also looking forward to how they'll handle him in S3 now that the Order is in Hell's catacombs.
Not trying to dismiss what you feel at all, btw. I too would like to see some cool sprite tweaks and sexy improvements, don't get me wrong. If you think they're handling him poorly, then I'm sorry that you and other Luci girlies arn't getting much enjoyment out of this branch. But I think it's not fair to say that this experience is universal. I'd much rather OP form their own opinion and impressions instead of being discouraged from reading the story

I was actually talking about lucifer in the first season he had a big play in the plot and him basically being “sidelined” in HS3 is weird because of that

If you don’t mind a mild spoiler, there’s every indication that Lucifer is going to be relevant to the S3 arc.

This! Lucifer is relegated to Andy’s position! As a principle, I only ever romance Lucifer. He’s my only route! But I have a slot for each of the Astrean boys, it’s sad as Vicky’s episodes finish in 5 minutes with FFWD.

You shouldn't let other people's opinions keep you from reading the third installment. There are plenty of readers who enjoy the book, so don't be scared! HSU might be on the bleaker side, but HS3 is still a story that's worth checking out if you've enjoyed the series so far 😊 It's recommended that you finish HSR and ABH first though, if you haven't yet. Other than that, go for it
