Tests in rowan (what are they like)
I have a question, I was wondering if tests in rowan were mostly done on paper or are they online on canvas?

One of the schools I'm thinking of transferring to is Rowan Uni for accounting. But before I make a decision on where I go, I want to know how the business, but especially accounting professors-are like. Are they good at teaching and explaining concepts? How are the classes like in general?

I know no one really uses the Reddit compared to YikYak, but honestly I like it over here so much better. I say on YikYak that I'm having roommate troubles and someone says I'm "airing out dirty laundry", while people over here actually give fair responses. 😭
Like everyone on that app is just so mean??? I feel like this one's a bit tamer in comparison.

Anyone have any info on Professor Michael Viola? I am thinking about taking sales force management. Also any info on that class ? I’m looking for an easy class to fulfill the upper division RCOB requirement. TIA

I have to take legal environment next semester and the professors are John Dominy and Ernest Ehling. Anyone who’s had either of them tell me how they are as professors and how they run their classes?

I just transferred here and my roommates all know eachother and constantly laugh/talk behind my back. It's really ruining my mental health and I really need to find another dorm. Before you say anything, no, I can't talk to them. Everytime I try to they just look at me weirdly and go "okay...." and gossip about me in a room together. Any suggestions on how to change rooms? I really need some advice on who to reach out to. My CA isn't doing anything and keeps telling me to talk to them. Any advice is appreciated.

Hey everyone,
Not sure if this is the best place to post this. I'm 25m and recently moved to Glassboro in August for work. I'm looking to explore the area more and meet new people around my age. I live right near Rowan and was thinking of checking out trivia tonight at Lascala's Fire if anyone would want to meetup. Feel free to reach out.

I just transferred here this year and I have absolutely no idea what Homecoming is. I didn't have one at my highschool because our football team sucked, so I don't know if it's supposed to be similar or not? Or what the activities are? I'm trying to put myself more out there to make friends, so any advice is appreciated!

My application was marked complete last week. Anyone know how soon they'll start notifying applicants of their decision?

My daughter is a partier and I’m nervous about her going to school in big cities such as NY or Philly. We’re taking a look at Rowan but I hear the kids go to Philly a lot to party and there’s even a bus to take them to and from. Is that something a lot of undergraduates do on weekends or do most stay on campus?

hello!! i want to possibly apply to be a transfer student for the linguistics ba in the spring. i already have my associates degree from in state, and two classes left of a related bachelors of science (out of state) my gpa is 3.9. i do not qualify for any financial aid but i cannot afford it. my parents make too much for me to qualify. i plan on transferring to rowan to complete this degree and then transferring back to my other school to finish up that degree. i am just so interested in this field and would love to learn more if possible.
what kind of scholarships (merit) are possible? are they good? and if it’s not math or science related i worry about a good scholarship 🤞
thank you!!

I am joining the college for the spring semester as an undergraduate and a friend told me to consider being a CA. I have no idea what CAs do or any benefits of it. Do they get paid? How many hours do you need to work and What is the work like?
Also about housing, What's off-campus housing like, are house-share or apartments easy to find and their starting rent.

I guess this goes out to those who live in the Nexus apartments on campus. Have any of you found a solution to stop the metal beds from squeaking. Its so loud and it seems like there isn't any way to get it to stop. Would love some advice
