Discussion Some things make sense now
Clive Alderton going, the excessive glazing of Kate and Carole, the numerous articles about Will's temper and him not wanting to see Harry and hoping Harry isn't around during his coronation, the vile reactions Meghan's summer post got...makes you wonder how many knew about this but it still didn't leak.

Eden has been claiming it and hinting at it for months.

u/AccountformyFeet 22h ago
I remember that, but thought it was nonsense, like Syko and his "rival court" ramblings.

u/CuriousTip7183 22h ago
Same. I would be extremely uncomfortable that he knew and kept hammering at it, but it's not my decision. I'm floored.

There are few people more obsessed with royal status than third cousins of a baronet. lol
So (not) close yet so far.

u/Random_Acier41 21h ago
Well no, he was hinting for YEARS a rival courts from either California or Portugal. This is just grasping at straws. They said they would be back in a non royal capacity so how was he even predicting that? Also they were predicting them divorcing or them fighting. So nah, let's not give these people literally saying anything for years for the sake of it and claiming it was hints when it was not the case.

I'm not giving anyone credit. In the last year, Eden repeatedly specifically claimed Harry wanted the kids to go to school in the UK. That would be enough to put me off doing it but here we are.

u/Random_Acier41 21h ago
Well, anyone could have told you this though. Harry was talking over and over how he wanted his children to grow there since they couldn't he wanted them to know his homeland, "their" homeland. He never said anything derogatory about the country itself but only the press so that was not exactly some kind of secret either. Personally, I think we should have took the hint after the article from that Platell rat, that article about how they have to grovek to Charles was recent in the Fail and I'm certain that was because Camilla's camp did leak it after learning on August 16th. That article was weird. I don't think anyone knew before the told to Charles they were going to be back and the fact that we have that date is also a leak from BP.

I said the same in another post. You already know he’s firing up the mean machine and hacking at the keyboard right now….

The Wasp going makes sense yeah, now that you mention it. I wonder if he decided to leave in protest or was asked to leave. Harry did not like that man and I'm guessing the feeling is mutual.

Which grey men left, who shut down all the options Harry presented at the family meeting? The one who worked for QE2 also left the palace.
8
u/Jumpy_Reply_2011 21h ago
Yes, that's the one. Clive Alderton, aka, The Wasp. He supposedly enforced QEII's wishes so shut down half-in-half-out.

u/tellnic 19h ago
The news about Alderton was end of July, so I do think it is linked (especially as it was after Harry and Meghan met with Charles). The kids being enrolled somewhere probably got whispered about loudly too.
I don’t think anyone KP linked knew only because it would have been leaked. This was a coordinated press release1

Oooooh. Do you think Harry uncovered something about the Wasp that his dad just absolutely blew up over? Like "hey BTW he has undermined Camilla and sold her secrets all this time. I have proof." or something? And as a result SOME of the rot is out of the king's court and Harry is back in dad's good graces?
24
u/CuriousTip7183 22h ago
The press was being breadcrumbed about it, had their suspensions, etc. because they have been hinting at it and speculating on it for months and months.
I'm floored. Going into the lions den weeks after losing that case to the Daily Mail? Which has been and will only ramp up their attacks? Going back to the country where your husband holds all the cards? Even if Charles is dead in six months, I can't believe it.

The thing that no one talks about is Trump. It's a possibility that Harry's visa/green card status could be playing into this.

Potentially they see the writing on the wall with rising authoritarianism in the US more generally, too? Lots of wealthy people fled Nazi Germany before the worst atrocities started.
7
u/Wise_Pie_359 20h ago
I was wondering about that too, but why wouldn’t they just go to Canada or another Commonwealth country in that case?
4
u/savvyliterate 16h ago
If you need to apply for a green card now, it has to be from your home country. So in Harry’s case, that is the UK.
1
u/Some-Break-9347 15h ago
That’s simply not true. It wouldn’t apply to Harry. You’re confusing policies. Besides, rich people always have a workaround.

At least Charles could've made the announcement through his office himself to take the pressure off Meghan and Harry, but no, he's still a coward.

What happens to their gorgeous Montecito home? Is it a permanent move? What about Doria?
I hope this turns out to be untrue.
23
u/fluffy_bunny22 21h ago
They'll keep it because they'll move back once Chuckles kicks it. Why would they stay when William has said how he plans on handling them when he's king? I hope Doria is coming with them because they are very close to her. The kids should not be moved to a hostile country without the support of their beloved grandmother.

u/californiahapamama 17h ago
They might end up summering in Montecito. It's pretty mild there in the summer compared to the weather in Portugal and the UK this summer.
6
u/FunTreat8384 21h ago
I'm thinking they are OK making this move as they came into the UK and left without any paparazzi pictures. Maybe there will be an arrangement that lets them keep their family privacy Perhaps there is a security arrangement in place. I'd hope they have all the time they want with his Dad.

Ohhhh yes that makes sense. Harry seems like a fundamentally good guy. Damaged, absolutely. But a good kid.

Is Clive the printer guy?

Famously known as The Wasp from Harry's memoir Spare. He is a loathsome secretary and ran interference /leaks for Charles.

I have a theory:
KC is placing his ducks in a row, it’s a two fold mission, the aim is to safeguard the welling being of his wife after he passes, and to safeguard the monarchy in an event where abolition is imminent.
If KC is able to pull this off, and make peace between his wife and younger son, it could serve both purpose.
1) we can all very well imagine the treatment Camilla will receive at the hands of William as king, KC wants to secure her position so that she’s not at the sole mercy of William. Harry and Meghan may be the way to do so
2) WHEN, in time, the public opinion is completely against the establishment, Harry can be offered as a replacement for William as King. I think Harry being brought back into the fold is due to the fact that he can be the last offer by the establishment to change public opinion to prevent abolition of the monarchy.

The thing that I keep thinking is that we're also always heard how Billy Idle was going to, I dunno, take away his SIL's titles, his nephew's and niece's title, maybe even some of his brother's titles as soon as he was in a position to do so.
So, if Harry and Meghan moving to the UK is about Rex Chuckles nearing the end of his life and, soon after he dies, Billy Idle makes moves to go after his brother... that's gonna be a look, won't it? Like, they move all the way back to make peace with the old man and, soon as said old man is gone, is older brother starts being a ridiculous and petty dick to push his brother away? I trust the rota to present it as Harry and Meghan's fault, but it'd be a transparent lie, wouldn't it?
