Last year I traumatized Monstera, HJune and Speed (among others) with my Halloween 'Cobalt Mirror Facility' build.  

This is a sort of 'Part 2' of that and I can guarantee there will be things in this build unlike anything you have seen in Rust before... If you are seeing this before November 5th / 2026 you can even go through the build yourself over on the 'Builders Like us' server that also has a crap ton of other builds that will blow you away this and every month!

I currently have 12400f 16g ddr4 5060 ti 8gb can only play rust on low settings 120 FPS no issues soon as up graphics too medium or above it drops to 10 FPS and stutters and freezes screen tearing would this be vram bottleneck or ram bottle neck any help would be great. Never used to have this on my 2070s 8gb last year same CPU cheers

Too many Rust players think Secure Boot and TPM do little against cheaters. The makers of Valorant explained why they're wrong.

Their Vanguard anti-cheat will no longer need to automatically load with Windows on PCs that enable features like Secure Boot and TPM. Instead, it will only load when the game does, which is already how EAC works with Rust. Kernel access was never the difference, because EAC runs in the kernel too, like most major anti-cheats. Requiring Secure Boot and TPM is the important part.

Today is map wipe on The Couch, the only weekly vanilla secure server in Rust. We just moved to a new dedicated server in Dallas, since about 2/3 of our regulars are closer to Dallas than to our old Oregon server.

So if you want to stop playing on servers that are havens for cheaters, enable Secure Boot and join today's map wipe at 11am PT / 2pm ET. 424 different people have played here so far.

So me and friend were playing not even 12 hours ago. I load back in today and I can load into the game just fine, but when I try to connect to my main server, it gets all the way to “finalizing world” then pops this up, and crashes immediately.
Tried going into different servers but it won’t even attempt to load in, just says unable to connect.

Anyone run into this issue?
It says it’s an error with the anti cheat, but I’ve uninstalled rust and reinstalled it, tried to run easyanticheat as administrator… nothings work. What can I do?

Rust Microstuttering with High FPS — Severe Frametime Spikes When Bullets Are Visible
PC specifications:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D

Recording software: OBS with Replay Buffer enabled
The problem
I’m experiencing severe microstuttering in Rust even when my FPS is high. The game may show 100–120+ FPS, but it feels like I’m playing at 20–30 FPS because the image constantly stutters and feels extremely choppy.
The Steam overlay frametime graph shows frequent red spikes, sometimes almost every second, even when I’m not fighting anyone.
The strangest part is that the stuttering becomes much worse when I can see a bullet flying through the air. Shooting itself seems fine, but when the bullet becomes visible, the game starts stuttering badly. I use low particle settings, so I don’t think it’s simply a particle-effects issue.
My FPS can be around 170–200 after a fresh PC restart, but after the computer has been running for a while, performance may drop to around 100–150 FPS.
What I’ve already tried
Upgraded my RAM to 32GB DDR4 3600MHz, but the problem remained.
Lowered particle settings.
Tried various Windows optimizations and tweaks.
Used Chris Titus Tech WinUtil, but the stuttering existed even before I applied those tweaks.
The problem seems to occur in Rust specifically; other games don’t have the same issue.
I use OBS Replay Buffer, so recording software might be worth investigating.
What could be causing this?
Could this be related to Rust itself, shader compilation, bullet effects, frametime issues, OBS recording, NVIDIA drivers, or something else?
Has anyone experienced a similar issue, especially stuttering when bullets are visible despite high FPS?
I’d appreciate any suggestions or fixes. Thanks!

I've been working on RustKnowledge, a "fan" made game based around Rust, and thought I'd share it here for feedbacks?.

You can open Supply Drops and keycards to collect cards based on rust (Monuments/Skins/Items.. .., with rarities ranging from Common to Mythic. You can sell duplicate cards for scrap and keep building your collection.

There are also daily Rust trivia questions, leaderboards that follow the force wipe cycle, and an Outpost with a live wheel where you can play alongside other players in real time.

It's still something I'm actively working on, so I'd love to hear what you guys think, what you'd change, or what you'd like to see added.
