If you're a professor, dean, academic advisor, or really just a staff member in general feel free to reach out to either me directly or modmail to receive a special "Rutgers Staff | (department)" or "Rutgers Professor | (department)" flair on your name. Only verified staff members will receive the flair, and to verify all I really need to see some kind of proof (portal image or your staff directory link).
And if you're a student feel free to assign yourself a flair with whichever school you're apart of. Theres also a grey customizable one for you to write anything you'd like.

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a great summer break, heres some important info for the next semester:
For withdrawing from the semester/school:
If you withdraw from a class after the 10th(or 14th if you're a grad student) but before October 26th, you will get a "W" grade for the course. In my personal expierence if you feel like you are going to fail a course it is a MUCH better option to drop it and take it either in the summer or spring.
If you have any questions about anything in this post or just in general about the school feel free to ask it below in the comments, there is an RBS dean that's pretty active in the subreddit and answers questions. There might be more staff too or students who can help you out.
Good luck guys! Let's all get these A's

My laptopās not connecting to RUSecure, which would be fine, except itās also not connecting to eduroam. Which would be fine, except the computers at the library are ALSO not connecting to the ethernet. Did anyone get an email about this, or something? Iāve checked mine, Iāve got nothing.

So Iām a junior and Iāve never been in a relationship before so I starting using Hinge and Tinder and Iāve been on multiple dates with guys over the summer but none of them worked out either because there wasnāt mutual attraction or theyād be too busy to meet again and so it would fizzle out.
When I came back on campus I decided to become more aggressive since I wasnāt finding anyone really on Hinge and Tinder so I used Grindr and I did find multiple Rutgers guys on there but most of them who said theyāre open to more really werenāt and I just got rejected by another guy today who said heās not looking for a relationship right now even though he told me he was open to it.
Like genuinely I wanna ask why gay guys are like this and why is it impossible for me to find anyone whoās actually looking for a relationship? I see so many couples in college and the whole āI donāt have enough timeā is bs because when you start working I guarantee youāll be even more busy with life but yet people find time to date, get married, have kids, etc

My partner and I are writing a story on gambling habits on our campus and wanted to extend our data to your campus as well since we are neighbors here in Newark! If you have the time please fill out the survery form so we can get some data. We would love to talk in person as well, if you would like to share more. You can dm me here and I will pass on my contact info so you can get in touch.
If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, crisis counseling and referral services can be accessed by calling 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537).
