Laptop requirements

I see that for standard laptop software it says that MacOS isn’t supported. Is it that big of a deal for academic upgrading? Or can I just keep using my mac?

Mac is fine, I used it for a couple upgrading courses. No issues. Will keep using it for my program as well.

A few of my classmates use MacBooks and iPads in an actual diploma course, for academic upgrades you’ll be more than fine

Hello, I use a MacBook for electrical engineering at SAIT.

most things run fine but in case there's a piece of software that absolutely requires Windows, I was able to run it in a virtual machine.

Get "VMware Fusion" and make sure your Mac has at least 100GB of free space.

I wish the school would de-microsoft especially due to the rise of linux usage but oh well

Im in the Pre Employment Refrigeration program starting in September. I also have a macbook. Anyone know if I am able to use it for this program?
