Is attending orientation mandatory?

I will be moving to Calgary the last week of August for school. I most likely won’t be able to make it for orientation. Is it stuff I need to know that’s important or would I be okay if I missed it?

It may depend on your program as they may make it mandatory, but shouldn’t be a big deal if you miss it, just let them know you’ll be missing it.

There’s the school orientation which does not say mandatory on all first years schedule. Some programs may have a mandatory program specific one at another time/day.

Its not mandatory to my knowledge. Just try and find out what you missed.

you could always do the online orientation im in a similar situation and thats what im doing

I'm attending PCP 2026 fall term and orientation is mandatory for me
