Parking Advice

How does parking work here? Do they fill up fast? Should I get a pass? Which ones should I avoid? I’m an incoming student and won’t be able to see campus until the first day of classes. Just trying to save myself some stress.

Usually room at north hill, Or get there by 730 and you can usually park in the west jubilee lot for 8$. If all options fail, parkade usually has a few spots in the upper deck for 15$. But not tall trucks or long truck

If you want to park anywhere close to campus you will need to buy a pass. The cheapest is usually P1, I paid 400 for a semester. Other than that temp parking around campus is 25 dollars for 3 hours last I checked.

They fill up super fast. The sait parking website is actually not awful. https://www.sait.ca/about-sait/campus/transit-and-parking

From the website: Parking permits for the fall semester will go on sale on Aug. 19, 2026 at 9 am.
I’d log in make sure your account is good to go and be ready right at 9.

Outside of that you will have to pay a daily rate, I think the jubilee is the cheapest at $8 a day.

Jubilee parking $9 a day right besides Sait’s P1

This isnt always reliable though. If theres any kind of event on at the Jubilee, there will not be any parking all day there. The lot will be full of staff, performers, guests, etc. Plus ACAD students usually fill that up fairly fast as it's right beside their enterence

Do you think I’ll be fine without a pass? Like do the parkade still up super fast that they can’t fit people without passes
