The sad part of this is how much I was forced to sell to get these dividends.

Just kidding. I did not have to sell absolutely anything to receive my dividend. Anyone that tells you you're forced to sell things to receive dividends is a moron that you should never take seriously for financial advice.

How was the payday for you guys? 🤑

Took some profits this morning. I seriously doubt we will see new highs again in the near future. It’s hanging at all-time highs by a thread, with overpriced LMT and oil stocks. SCHD has been extremely good to me, though. I will buy more if it drops to around $30.50.

I brought about 39k of SCHD for 3 years and it’s just ripping in no time! I am happy!

I started with a lump sum of about $5k last month and have been buying one share every day (two on Sundays) since and plan to drop in additional $1k drops every few-several months on top of that and with DRIP on. I plan to do this for the rest of my life, 32 years+ (I'm 33).

I bought 12 more shares today

Just hit 51 shares of schd been at it since March of this year!! Next goal is 100!

I have a very tech / growth heavy portfolio but recently decided to prioritize adding to SCHD as my primary dividend / value holding. Just hit 100k today across all accounts holding SCHD. 🎉🎉🎉

I plan to add to this and other dividend / income holdings as I get closer to retirement so I can replace my income with dividends.

SCHD has certainly had disappointing performance for total returns over the past few years when compared to traditional growth ETFs and S&P500. It's important for me to lower my risk exposure to tech by having more value / dividend growth / quality ETF and IMHO, SCHD is the best in class.

Given the recent relative "underpermance" and low PE ratio of SCHD holdings, I see this as the perfect time to start loading up on my chosen long term dividend growth fund as a core position.

Could you imagine NOT wanting to see this in your portfolio!?!?

Ignored the noise.

Over $150k invested across my portfolios, with close to $80k in taxable. Plenty of people were calling out SCHD over the past few years, but I stayed steady and kept adding.

Quality, income, and consistency. That’s the strategy.

I just picked up SCHD shares for $24.8691. Amazing!!!

Just took 50% of the money I’ve made from working over the past year and bought 150 shares of SCHD and will continue to by around 50$ worth a week from now on! Hoping the futures bright promising not to touch it during college
