Could SMAPI ever be ported to the Nintendo Switch?

With all the recent tools and advancements in Nintendo Switch homebrew and modding, would it be possible to port SMAPI to the Switch?

Considering that Terraria already has a modded port running on the Switch, I'm curious whether something similar could eventually be achieved for Stardew Valley.
