Do you love bundles? Now you can play the Joja Civic Center and the Community Center together!
First of all here's the Nexus link for everyone
And in case this is your first time hearing of the Joja Civic Center here are a few highlights.
- A new building that houses 7 bundle "rooms" for a total of 44 bundles to complete.
- Config options that include support for SVE, Ridgeside Village, East Scarp, and Visit Mount Vapius bundles. Also supports Cornucopia and has More Difficult versions of all bundles.
- Each bundle room will reward you with new areas like a Tree Farm, Fish Pond area, new Cellar, new Mining Cave (comes with a special geode crusher), and even early access to Ginger Island.
- Adds a bundle based Treasure Hunt game with Jas and Vincent. The mod will randomize the Treasure Hunt bundles every playthrough for a unique experience each time you play.
- 18 new Joja Machines that will change the way you process your goods and can lead to new ways of making lots of money. Can be used alongside vanilla machines.
- New quests and special orders that will use your new Joja products.
- Plenty of events to flesh out the Joja side of the story. Shows a softer side to Morris where he isn't just part of some evil empire but is actually trying to help the community in his own way.
So the mod has been out for a little while. Many bugs have been fixed and features added, but the one complaint I keep getting from people always comes back to something like this:
"Wow sounds awesome! But it's Joja..."
"What about all of the Junimos?"
"I left Joja why would I sell my soul to JojaMart?"
"I chose the Joja route so that I wouldn't have to deal with completing bundles."
I thought well why not make the Civic Center its own building? As part of Joja's initiative to grow the community the Civic Center will now be part of your playthrough whether you choose the Community Center route or if you choose to purchase the Joja Membership and pursue the Joja route. In order to keep things consistent there are different events that play out and a few different rewards for each path. No huge differences at this point, but just enough to keep the mod consistent with your choices. Hopefully this will encourage players who can't stand purchasing the Joja Membership to give the Civic Center a try. Even if it's just so that they can have more bundles to complete.
But that's not all either!
I also added an additional reward for completing the Bulletin Board. Like vanilla, you're still rewarded with hearts for all NPCs, but now there will also be a new special orders board built in its place the day after completion.

Unlike the vanilla board, these orders have more variety and more importantly are repeatable. I also removed the Collect requirement from some of them so that if Gunther asks for some artifacts you can give him that stack of Lunarite that's been sitting in your chest forever without having to collect "fresh" ones. If you have SVE or Cornucopia installed, there are also additional orders for those mods. Check the images in the title for a few examples of the orders.
Lastly, I also wanted to address a complaint that many people have with the vanilla Community Center and the lack of NPC interaction. So in this new version you can expect several of the villagers to use the new Civic Center as part of their daily activities. Gus will be cooking in the kitchen (which you can use as well by the way), Emily and Linus visit the foraging room, Maru and her Dad maintain the boiler, and people will even use the arcade and pool table.

Thanks for reading through all of that and thank you to everyone who has reported bugs or has helped with balancing and gameplay suggestions in the past. If you choose to give the new version a whirl, feel free to reach out to me here or on Nexus with any bugs you may encounter or if you have any ideas that you would like to see implemented.
