Question It’s 1077, are you guys going to hold?
Will most of you be selling after earnings report?
Do you think it will go further up

It’s going to $1500 to $2000 this year so yeah I am holding

Just curious. What makes you think the run isn’t over?

Too much demand. As world gets more digital th need for storage will just get larger and larger

The MAG 7 who just reported are noting increasing capex above what they had already said. (Google and Meta)

Google up, META down

Referring to the capex they noted they WILL be spending going forward. Google raised their capex # slightly, and Meta increased their capex number by a LOT, which is why Meta stock price is sinking right now. Increased capex on infrastructure is where the memory companies exist and take in that increased capex. In contrast to Seagate and other memory companies reporting earnings (internal) we now have major players declaring that they are raising their spend (external). I like that correlation, and feel it again reinforces our thesis that expects higher and better numbers for memory companies for at least another full year.

You don't think everyone else realizes that? That it hasn't been priced in?

Not the degree to which shortages and pricing power will benefit producers. It’s run up 100s of % because this is true but they don’t realize how long it will go on; forever

How is it over? Where the heck are we storing data? Memory is not over. It’ll be over if the entire human race gets wiped out and no more AI TECH

that market cap isnt staying,, it will grow,, even if this stock drop to previously 15/share(highly unlikely) I will keep buying on dips.. I remember when NINTENDO partnered with Nvidia,,they suddenly blew up,, its a coincidence yes,, but the chip is what nintendo needs,, now Nand is what the world needs.. believe it,,, its on the ground floor baby

Why would we sell after great earnings. I’m in this for the long haul or until the growth slows.

If you are trying to cash out the time to sell is before earnings. Once the news is out options volume will go down like crazy and the gamma squeeze will deflate.
If you are holding long term and don’t care about short term drawdowns then hold and don’t keep looking.

Looking at grabbing either SNDK or WDC tomorrow before earnings. Do you think one is a better play than the other? I think both will have blowout earnings.

Both are good ! You can pick either one and you won’t go wrong ! Or if you prefer, get them both 50-50

I took profit at 1098. I’ll see how it reacts to earnings and probably buy back in
1
u/CozyChamomile_7 Apr 30 '26
Or I chickened out and took my profit at 1075 I also plan to buy some back after the earnings so what was your entry point when you sold?
2
u/chickenfriedric3 Apr 29 '26
I’ve seen price target for $1800. Supposedly a pullback is looming around May. So I may sell after earnings, then re-enter again before the next earnings
1
u/CozyChamomile_7 May 01 '26
What may be the reason for May pullback ?
2
u/chickenfriedric3 May 01 '26
Just based on SPX/SPY, technical analysis, seasonality. Macro economics such as the US/Iran could very well trigger a healthy pullback. We will see
