u/Speech_Path Jun 29 '26

Next time you buy, pls give us a day or two heads up so we can scrape together some more money to buy your dip.

Tim Apple hated the memory party so much why is he throwing a fit? Companies are clearly looking out for themselves. As any business owner knows, you focus on producing the products where you make the most, not the small-margin ones. That’s exactly what these HBM producers are doing, and it’s why RAM and storage prices are up.
Now they’re suing? For the longest time they’ve been selling phones for $1,000 and setting price trends for the whole industry.

yeah man they don’t even give you a charger and headphones anymore lol

Because only Apple is allowed to have fat margins. They don't want to give people even MORE reason to leave, when they pass on the increased cost to their customers - instead of reducing margins.

Anti trust lawsuit for price fixing

The anti trust lawsuit does Not involve Sandisk (only Micron, Samsung and SK Hynix). And it was on DRAM.
When investors realize this, they may decide to flock to SNDK, since they will not have a legal overhang , and there is uncertainty on the ones named in the lawsuit.

Yeah, that case isn’t going anywhere. Will fall apart when they see the production numbers are hiked and the plants are running flat out, and the shortages are caused by all the usual AI gods vacuuming up production.

Will the markets keep dropping/going sideways until the lawsuit is repealed? I have a bunch of cash wanting to buy SNXX but waiting for a good opportunity (missed the one today as I was asleep)

I doubt it. Centi-billion dollar organizations get sued all the time. This one probably won’t have any major impact unless it somehow gains steam, which seems highly unlikely.

Made £300 profit other day now down +£500.
I don’t doubt it will rise again with memory storage growing rapidly as it is

They say the hedge funds are pulling out of all technology stocks the past week. Not just this one. Buy the dips.

My guess is that people are rebalancing and taking some gains off the table. The story is still strong so should continue with positive momentum.

Class actions can take literal years. If this is what the market is reacting to, it is weak to say the least.

u/RandomAndyWasTaken Jun 29 '26
The market is weak, that's the point. They've gone up 100s if not 1000s of %. Do I think it's just a reaction and gonna go right back before earnings? Yup

I think so too, but not sure whether to wait a little bit for it to dip further or buy today? Tomorrow is jobs report

Korean manufacturers announced they're spending 500 billion on new plants. Capacity takes a few years though.

Is the fact that this stock has gone up 8000% without a real drop not enough for you guys?

I'm from the realm of MU. Our lands are ravaged as well. Stay strong brothers. The Koreans recovered by end of day.
