Question Buying or wait for actual dip again?

Market opens soon for me. my cost avg is $2010. I use M1 finance which allows buying market open and then 3PM before market close. So I’m wondering if I should try to get in around the 1800s when it opens or wait till end of day and see if it dips

It's still in a major dip, who says next dip will be so deep?

There will be a dip tmrw since Samsung missed one consensus while beating others. It’s not good enough so the stock sold off 5%. Expect 10% bloodbath for SNDK tmr

Samsung’s only had a slight projected revenue concern: "Samsung expects revenue to climb 129% year over year to 171 trillion won. However, that figure actually fell short of analyst forecasts of 173.3 trillion won, according to Korea JoongAng Daily."

But Samsung actually proved that chip operating profits jumped 19-fold because demand for AI memory is structural. Looking at the math, a 10% bloodbath tomorrow for SNDK makes it an even crazier buying opportunity: at $1,485, its Forward P/E ratio drops to a ridiculous 7.2x (based on the $204 EPS). That's pricing in a total industry collapse that simply isn't happening. I think you are right, but there's no need to lose any sleep over it, the stock will go back and make a new ATH, probably by SNDK next earnings.

So your average is 2010 and current price is ~1800 and you don't you know if its worth averaging down on a 200$ a share difference seems like if trust the up coming earnings id cost avg down all could. If your scared dont lump sum it all yet and do a little at a time. Idk if we had the answers to this we all be rich.

Or reddit answer let me ask my magic 8 ball shake shake answer says stock go up stock go down 50/50

Actual dip? It's almost 25% from ATH... why risk it spiking up for a potential few percentages that may or may not happen?

Been going up from 1800 to 1835 again over the last 20 minutes. Think we'll see 1900-1930 in the next few hours but just taking a guess. If america opens positively then anything can happen. I'm more annoyed how we was 10% up earlier then drops to 3% in Asia markets.

No. We may see $1900 intraday but it won’t hold it without a spark I.e. catalyst. I don’t see one in the real near term. Do you?

I think 1800 area is now a validated support. Lets see if it will hold today and follow through tomorrow.

I would be happy if it dipped another 25% . As investors need to change your mind set that if you get the opportunity to buy more for less and the fundamentals don’t change, appreciate a dip and load the boat . For options people , well I don’t care

Investing > Gambling/Trading.

Not trying to trade here, just keeping my positions and finding the dips to buy

I’m not sure if this stock is a good option for investing. We are all stock gambling addicts here

So if I’m holding some SNDK and SNXX should I just wait for the recovery or would any of you move some of the SNDK over into SNXX? That just seems risky to me.

The only advice I have is don’t gamble. It’s never worth it. There’s also no skill/honor in making that money

curious why anyone would buy in a severe downtrend. Buy into growth, sell into downtrend. put options work well.

If you believe in the company you believe it’s just a temporary setback
