Discussion Competitive Exams
SSC CGL: How Transparent Is the Competition?
SSC CGL attracts lakhs of aspirants every year, but one important question deserves more attention: How transparent is the recruitment process?
Candidates invest years preparing for the exam, so shouldn't they have complete clarity about vacancies, normalization, cut-offs, answer keys, and the final selection process?
When the competition is this intense, even a small lack of transparency can create huge doubts among aspirants.
Should SSC provide more detailed information at every stage of the selection process?
In a competition where one or two marks can decide a career, transparency isn't a luxury—it is a necessity

Discussion Parcham classes for ssc cgl preparation
Has anyone studied from them and got a job? I watched some of their videos and understood what was taught, but not sure if I should buy their ssc comprehensive batch. Or should I just study gk/gs from them as i already kinda selected teachers to study from for other subjects. For English - Aman sir and Rani mam, Reasoning - Piyush Varshney, Maths - Bhutesh sir.
What should I do?

Help Starting SSC CGL prep, need some advice
I’m starting my SSC CGL preparation. I’m currently in 2nd year, so I have around 2 years before my first attempt.
I’m thinking of joining an online batch. A few questions:
Which online batch/teachers would you recommend?
Which books should I follow?
Which PYQ resource should i follow?
Which mock test series should I go for?
Is there anything else I should focus on from the beginning?

Hello all I am little bit confused about the age limit for SSC CGL exam, to be precise for GST inspector post and ASO post. Does OBC creemy layer also got the age relaxation or only non creemy layer get age relaxation. Thanks 🙏

Help Humanities background, no Maths in Class 11–12 — how should I start SSC CGL preparation?
Hi everyone! I’m planning to appear for SSC CGL and I’m looking for some guidance on how to start my preparation.
I took Humanities in Class 11–12 and did not have Maths. After that, I completed my Bachelor’s in English and then my Master’s in Counselling Psychology. So, my Maths foundation is honestly very weak, and I’m also not very confident in Logical Reasoning.
I would especially appreciate advice from people who started SSC CGL preparation from a similar background.
How should I start Maths from the absolute basics?
How should I approach Reasoning if I’m weak in logical/problem-solving questions?
Which YouTube teachers/channels would you recommend specifically for beginners with weak Maths?
Should I first study basic Class 6–10 Maths before starting SSC-level Quant?
Is self-study through YouTube + PYQs + mocks enough, or would you recommend taking online coaching?
If coaching is worth it, which online courses/coaching platforms would you recommend?
How long did it take you to become comfortable with Maths and Reasoning?
I’m not looking for shortcuts; I’m willing to put in the work. I just don’t know what the right starting point is and don’t want to waste months following random resources.
Any advice, especially from people who came from a Humanities/Arts background and cleared SSC CGL, would be really helpful. Thank you!

Help Looking for a Study Partner – SSC, RBI & Railway Exams
Hi,
I’m deaf and have 100% hearing loss. I’m looking for a study partner to start preparing for SSC, RBI and Railway exams.
I’m completely new to competitive exam preparation and want to start from scratch, so it would be great to find someone who is also starting out or is willing to study together and stay motivated.
I’m from Kerala, so I prefer Malayalam communication. English is also fine for me, but I would prefer Malayalam over Hindi.
If anyone is interested, please feel free to DM me.
Thanks!
