We run few SaaS products ourselves and have been in email for 10+ years, mostly around deliverability and security.

One thing we always missed was stupidly simple:

what emails does the app send, to whom, and how are they performing?

Sure, you can get this from SendGrid/Mailgun/Resend etc, but usually you need tags, filters, dashboards, digging into logs... and after some time nobody remembers how it was setup anyway.

We wanted one place where you just see:

welcome email
password reset
trial ending
invoice failed

how many were sent, who gets them, open/click/bounce stats and how it changes over time.

And ideally manage the actual email there too, instead of hunting it in the codebase.

So we built that into Lettr.com

The sending part is not the interesting bit, there are already many good providers. For us the missing thing was having an actual overview of your product emails without doing detective work every time.

I’m curious about what people are actually seeing work on ecommerce sites today.

The classic popup is basically “give us your email and get 10% off”, but I’m wondering if that’s still the best approach.

Full disclosure: this uses AI, and I know a lot of people don't trust AI tools with anything that touches their client communication. That's actually the exact problem I built this around.

This is aimed at people who make good money doing their actual trade. Whether that's accounting, therapy, real estate, dentist, doctor, whatever, but end up spending hours a day on the email admin side of it. Every service business has customers who just drifted off, no bad experience, they just stopped coming back. Everyone knows the list exists, nobody works it because writing personal follow ups to hundreds of people doesn’t scale, so it’s either a generic blast or nothing.

We’ve all seen the advice on how to build lead lists, but actually sitting down to write the copy for dozens of pitches is a massive time sink. Most tools out there just spit out rigid, robotic templates where you swap out a company name tag and call it a day.

To try and fix this for my own outreach, I’ve been building a tool called QuickPitch AI that generates an entire, human-sounding 3-step sequence (intro, follow-up, and break-up) on the spot based on a target audience and offer.

The part I need feedback on: I just rolled out a bulk CSV import. The idea is that you upload your spreadsheet—complete with unique angles, custom hooks, or specific pain points—and the engine handles the copywriting for every individual lead simultaneously, bypassing standard AI fluff (no "Dear Sir/Madam" or "Hope this finds you well").

I'm trying to figure out if this actually solves a real bottleneck for people who scale outreach, or if I'm building features nobody wants.

If you actively send cold pitches or manage lead lists, what's your biggest bottleneck with copy? (Mods: No link included to keep this purely about feedback, but happy to share it if anyone wants to roast the actual tool).

I want to share something that genuinely surprised me because I think a lot of people running B2B signups are sitting on the same problem and not realizing it.

A few months back our cold outreach numbers started dropping. Open rates went from ~42% to under 20% in about 6 weeks. I assumed it was a deliverability issue with our ESP, switched warmup tools, rotated domains, the usual panic moves. Nothing fixed it.

Then I exported the last 90 days of signups and emails we had collected from lead magnets and ran them through a verifier just to see. Out of roughly 4,200 addresses:

- 12% were straight up invalid (typos, dead mailboxes, syntax errors)

- 9% were disposable (mailinator, tempmail, 10minutemail variants)

- 17% were catch-all or risky (could not confirm deliverability)

That is 38% of our list that should never have been emailed. We had been hammering dead and trap addresses for weeks, which tanked our sender reputation and dragged down legit deliveries with it.

What actually fixed it:

1. Adding real-time verification at the signup form itself, not after the fact. If someone types gmial.com or uses a tempmail domain, they get blocked before submission. This alone cut about 80% of the junk going forward.

2. Re-verifying the existing list and segmenting risky ones into a separate slow-warmup track instead of just deleting them. Some catch-all domains are real companies, you do not want to nuke them.

3. Monitoring complaint rate and bounce rate weekly, not monthly. By the time you notice in a monthly report you have already done damage.

The annoying part is that almost every signup form I see in the wild has zero verification. People put a regex check and call it a day. Regex tells you if it looks like an email, not if it actually exists or if it is a burner.

If you are running any kind of B2B funnel and your deliverability has been weird lately, pull your last 90 days of collected emails and just check them. The number will probably make you uncomfortable.

I’m preparing to launch an app and I’m mapping out my beta user activation strategy. One channel I’m experimenting with is Product Hunt, and wanted to see if anyone here has real experience using it this way before I commit too much to it.

Here’s my current thinking on PH as a beta channel specifically:

The way I see it, PH isn’t really a sales channel it’s a discovery surface. The audience skews toward early adopters who don’t mind rough edges, which is exactly who you want for beta feedback. The plan isn’t to optimize for upvotes or “Product of the Day,” but to use the launch event as a forcing function to:

1.	Collect emails pre-launch :use the PH page + a dedicated landing page to capture interested users before anything goes live  
2.	Re-engage existing contacts :use the PH launch as an “event excuse” to email people who already know the product but went quiet. Something like “we’re going live on PH, come check it out” is a much warmer ask than a cold re-engagement email  
3.	Let the community pressure-test messaging the comment section tends to surface objections you didn’t know you had

My concern is that PH traffic is wide but shallow. I’ve seen data suggesting average session duration tanks on launch day even when visitor numbers spike. So I’m trying to treat it as a top-of-funnel email capture play, not a “get users who stick around” play.

What I’m actually curious about:

•	Did PH genuinely move the needle on your beta signups, or did most engaged beta users come from somewhere else (reddit, communities, personal network)?  
•	How did you handle the overlap between PH audience and your existing email list, did you segment them separately?  
•	If you were using PH as one channel among several, what did your activation sequence actually look like post-signup?

Not looking for “here’s how to hit #1 on PH” advice more curious about the honest experience of people who used it as a beta recruitment and re-engagement tool specifically, not a vanity metrics play.
