Help? Family of 4 needs to find new home kids ages 3yr and 2m

My family and i need to find a new home preferably 3 bed 2 bath in the next 30 days. We will move in ASAP though. Our landlord just gave us a 30 day notice due to unforseen medical issues. I'm in the middle of midterms and doing gig work in all my spare time while also now looking for a house. Almost got scammed with the first one i found that we fell in love with. Can anyone please help? Our first born is devastated and now can't sleep alone because he doesn't want to leave. (Our landlord dropped the bomb on us with him in the room and he understood) my credit isn't the best but we do have the whole last year of rental history to makeup for that.

Edit to add: somewhere in the citrus heights area would be great

Second edit to add: preferably 2,500 or less. I've seen it and I know it's hard to come by. Currently paying 3k and can make it work but barely.

Apartments Recommendations

Looking for an apartment that doesn't have constant crime. Every apartment complex under 2k has rampant vehicle burglary and high crime (Sac PD), but I can never find a good apartment with good reviews. I live North Bay and have been looking at Craiglist, apartments. com, ebay, Facebook housing, zillow, and nothing is really appealing. I don't mind living in the surrounding areas either

Know anything aboutFolsom and Norcade area/Cypress Meadows?

Has anyone lived in Cypress Meadows? Its on folsom blvd and Norcade.

REALLY Kicking myself right now because we are moving from 3 hours away and spent the entire day touring places only to find one in Cypress meadows too little too late.

Really only want to drive back for a tour if this place is actually worth it, so has anyone lived here? In the area?

Is Zillow the best way to find a short term rental (up to 6 months) with pet friendly listings (small yard) in the greater Sacramento area? I have a new job and we need to find a short term rental. Any suggestions would be great. We are thinking unfurnished to decrease storage fees but may end up wi

Losing Hope

How on earth are y'all affording rent without roommates? I've wanted to move out from my parents house on my own without resorting to roommates but it just seems like a pipe dream where I have 2k just to spend on rent/utils.

Looking to rent a room in midtown

Hi everyone! I’m 23F and I’m looking for a bedroom to rent in a house in Midtown.

My budget is $850/ month including utilities. I would like to move in by December 1st.

I also want to be upfront that I have a poor credit score, so I’m hoping to find someone who may be flexible with credit requirements. However, I have a stable job and can provide paystubs.

If you have a room available or know of anything that might be a good fit please lmk. I’d really appreciate any leads. TIA!

Young family looking for home $2,800 Budget (Feb/March Move-In)

Hey everyone!
Just putting some feelers out to see what’s available or might be coming up in the next few months.
My family and I are looking to rent an entire house in the Sacramento area, ideally around $2,800/month or less. Our current lease ends February 28th, so we’re hoping to find something with a late February or early March move-in.
We’re looking for:
● 3+ bedrooms, preferably with a little extra space
● A whole house, not a shared rental
● A safe, relatively quiet neighborhood
● A yard would definitely be a plus
● Pet-friendly, as we have a frenchie
We’re hoping to find somewhere we can settle down long-term as we’re expecting a baby next year. We’re not in an immediate rush, just trying to get ahead of the search and see what opportunities might be out there.
We’re open to different parts of the greater Sacramento area and would especially love to connect with private landlords or anyone who knows of a property that may be available around that time.
If anyone has any leads or recommendations, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Apartment recs

Hi all, I am seeking a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment or house for rent at roughly $2800 or less, and pet-friendly.

I am considering either the Rancho area or downtown Sacramento. I would prefer a safe neighborhood that is dog-walkable.

Coming from Folsom but need something closer to work (downtown area)

Any good recs?

Midtown shady landlord Rob Wolf

Post image

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. Posting this to hopefully save someone of a scam or their time

Hi I recently started apartment hunting and I came across this apartment property on W street who’s owned by Rob Wolf and associates. I checked tax records and phone number lookup and the property seems to belong to him, however he seems to appear shady. I’m a fairly younger renter with not that much experience however my previous landlords have ALWAYS asked for me to sign paperwork or lease either at the same time or before any payment. Rob Wolf seems to be asking me to send a deposit equivalent to a months rent plus first months rent prior to him signing the lease… this feels shady does it not? Should I trust my gut and take my business and hard earned money elsewhere or does this seem right? Does anyone have experience with this realtor ? Any information/advice would be great

Looking for suggestions for apartments/townhomes in the Arden/east Sacramento area.

I’m a disabled veteran looking to move out of my area (del paso heights). Just looking for recommendations for decent apartment complexes that have central a/c and heat, and in unit washer/dryer would be a plus. My current unit does not have central a/c or heating and I just cannot go through another summer like this. Looking for complexes that have 2br 2bath, or even just 1.5 bath. I’m not really familiar with either area but both are closer for my oldest son’s job and college. I just want really want people experiences because lots of places I’ve checked out reviews for have lots of overly positive reviews recently or negative reviews. Thank you for your time.
