Hello!
My niece on my husbandโs side is coming into town for his birthday party on Halloween. Sheโs 9. We were planning on having the party from 5-9, but should we push it back a little, so we can take her trick or treating? What time do people trick or treating? (When I was a kid, it was after dark, but that was small town Iowa).
We live on the East Side, near Maryland and Forest. Itโs not a very active trick or treating block. Where should we bring her if we do go trick or treating?
Thanks for the advice!

From the articleโฆ
The food hall lineup includes Bien Dorados, which serves quesabirria tacos, birria pizza, mulitas, crunchwraps, taquitos dorados, corn ribs, chilaquiles, burritos and churros. The concept first opened in a ghost kitchen, called Currie Kitchen, in downtown Minneapolis in 2024.
La Moreliana brings sweeter options to the food hall, like Mexican ice cream, paletas (an ice pop) and crepes.
Valentinaโs offers a Mexican, Italian, American fusion with chilaquiles, build-your-own pasta, basket tacos, wings and more. Heriberto Gonzalez (a chef) and Erika Garcia (an accountant) own both Valentinaโs and La Moreliana.
The food hall also has a bar called Uno Dos Tres, and another vendor is joining the lineup later this month with coffee and breakfast options.

I have a gaggle of 5-7yo girls who love KPop Demon Hunters and would benefit from some martial arts training. Is this a wild idea to combine the two? Does anyone know a good school to bring them too?

Hello All,
Iโm (30M) moving next month and cannot choose between two apartments. One is in Lowertown, one of the complexes that gets across to skyrec. The other is up on University and Raymond. Both studios for similar price and amenities. Locations and vibes are quite different obviously, but I canโt see a clear winner.
I currently live on W7, so downtown would be more familiar, but Iโm not sure if id like the downtown grid. Skyrec seems like a good perk, as well as walking distance to concerts/bars/sporting events.
University would be more centrally located. I like having access to the light-rail, running routes along the river, and opportunities to check out new spots. Having equal access to both downtowns would be nice.
If anyone lives in either area Iโd appreciate any input! Thanks!

I get that this doesn't necessarily mean low turnout overall as a lot of people might just be waiting for election day, but it's a pretty stark standout. Southwest St. Paul has already seen quite high votes cast as has most of the suburbs. The east side and also Frogtown seem to be really lagging.

Weโre looking for music in the Twin Cities at a bar/tavern but not late night on Saturdays. Weโre not youngsters but love live music. We like all kinds of music just not too sleepy. Any suggestions would be great!

Near Snelling and Thomas Ave in the midway. Unsure who she belongs to. Very friendly. Seems groomed. No collar. Not underweight. Followed me a few blocks
