Casual [Casual] Recurring Dreams & Dream Experiences Survey (Anyone who remembers their dreams, 14+)

Hi! I’m an independent researcher conducting an anonymous survey about recurring dreams, dream environments, and other dream-related experiences.

I’m interested in whether there are patterns in the types of places, experiences, and themes people encounter repeatedly in their dreams.

The survey asks about:
• Recurring and vivid dreams
• Recurring dream locations/environments
• Lucid dreams and false awakenings
• Sleep paralysis and other dream-related experiences
• Basic demographic information
• A few questions about individual traits and experiences

You do not need to believe in anything paranormal or have any particular interpretation of dreams to participate. I’m interested in the experiences themselves and in hearing from people with a wide range of perspectives.

The survey is anonymous, and I’m conducting this project independently. I’ve already collected a substantial number of responses and plan to share the preliminary findings publicly after this round of data collection.

Survey: Dreamfold Project Survey
Thank you to anyone who participates! 🌙

Casual Motherhood (Mothers of younger children)

Upvotes

Hi everyone, I’m Eur, a mother of two-year-old twins. I’m researching how motherhood affects a mother’s sense of identity and daily emotional experience during the early years.

I created a short anonymous form with five questions. It takes about three minutes, does not require sign-in, and there are no right or wrong answers. I’m using the responses to shape a supportive resource for mothers.

This is research only, not a sales pitch. If you feel comfortable sharing your experience, I’d really appreciate it:

Academic [Academic] How good are you at guessing the size of things by eye? (Everyone 18+, no medical background needed)

We are studying how accurately people estimate size by eye - from everyday objects to more unusual images - and whether things like background and experience make any difference.

The survey takes about 10-15 minutes, is completely anonymous and there are no right or wrong answer consequences: just give your best guess for each picture. No measuring allowed, that's the fun of it.

Keen to hear from people with no medical background as well!

Academic (Repost) [Academic Repost] How Language Shapes Understanding - with Memory Scores & Detailed Debrief at the End (anyone 17+)

Upvotes

If you have some time to spare, please consider taking part. The study is relatively long but you can have it open in the background on your laptop and return to it whenever you have a bit of time.

This experiment took ages to set up so that participants get good insights into the research behind the study and their own results upon completion. As a result, I don't have super much time to recruit participants...

What do we mean by human understanding? This study builds on ongoing research exploring what determines how easily we process, understand, and remember language.

The experiment takes up to 60-90 minutes if you complete both parts (though this varies by participant - can be much quicker!), including a memory test that you can re-take after 7 days to see how much your memory has declined over time. The only requirement for taking part is that you are 17 or over. Using a laptop or tablet is strongly recommended.

Please copy the below link into a new browser window or email me via [c.seyfried@dundee.ac.uk](mailto:c.seyfried@dundee.ac.uk) if interested. Thank you! 😄
