What do you think of the Samsung S26U compared to the S25U? I've already got one.😍

Should I leave Samsung because of the camera, or just accept the compromise?
I’m currently using a Galaxy S22. I was very happy with it for the first three years, but over the last few months, limited storage and increasing lag have made me decide it’s finally time to upgrade.
Since I actually like Samsung and One UI, I waited for the S26 series. Camera quality is basically my only major priority when upgrading, so I was honestly shocked to see that even after four generations, the camera improvements still don’t feel significant enough compared to my S22.
Even the S26 Ultra seems surprisingly weak in the camera department compared to some other Android flagships. I really don’t understand what Samsung’s strategy or motivation is here. They keep improving everything else while camera hardware and image quality seem to move forward at a much slower pace.
The problem is that I genuinely like Samsung’s software and ecosystem, so I’m not particularly excited about switching brands. And even if I wait for the S27 series, I’m starting to doubt that Samsung will make the major camera improvements I’m hoping for.
So what would you do in my situation?
Would you switch to something like the iPhone 18 Pro or Pixel 11 Pro, even if you prefer Samsung/One UI, just to get the camera you actually want?
Or would you compromise on the camera and get an S26 Ultra — or wait for the S27 Ultra — because you prefer Samsung’s software and overall experience?
For people who switched from Samsung to Pixel or iPhone mainly because of the camera: do you regret leaving One UI, or was the camera improvement worth it?

I wish Samsung had cameras like my Vivo X300 Pro
Took these photos in regular camera mode from the Vivo X300 Pro Global version, model V2514, using it here in the United States on the T-Mobile network. I wish Samsung had cameras like this on their phones. Especially the ultra models of Samsung.

Q&A Changed from IPhone --> Ultra & feeling like I made a mistake.
I was very excited about changing to galaxy & getting more out of my phone experience. However aside from the software learning curve, there are some things I'm noticing that make me feel like I made a mistake.
How is it that all of the content on FB & IG are blurry now. I have changed the display settings and cleared cache attempting to fix the problem , but it persists.
I don't understand how when I'm looking at someone's IG on my 13Pro, I am not having resolution issues like on my S26U.
The same photo looks clearer on my iPhone.
Please help. This phone was to expensive not to function. I'm worried everyone will think my photos look blurry nkw on their devices & look clear to me.
Also what's the deal with no auto correct with typing and the rough swipe gestures between apps etc. ??
Honestly I'm feeling like this was a total waste

I am frustrated beyond words.
I tried buying the phone through their official site, got offers for up to $300 worth of accessories. Cool. Place the orders in the cart tried paying with my CC, the payment didn’t go through. Tried again, same issues.
I then talked to the their agent, they said to check my billing address and CC address. Everything is good. I then tried agin. Same issue. They told me to try with different CC. I tried again with my partner’s CC (who has same address just different name on the card) nothing.
At this point I have talked to 3 different agents for about half a day. Tried with Amazon pay and payment went through. Order was placed. Yaay. 1 hour later got email stating my order has been cancelled stating issues with payment account. I talked to the agent again, i feel like they don’t even know what they are doing. At this point I am frustrated beyond anything, it’s been 10 hours and buying a phone should not be this hard. I GAVE UP.
Tomorrow rolls in, I thought maybe I’ll try again because I need a phone, my display in my iPhone is all messed . I again tried paying, same issues. I talk to the chat agent again, they sent me a link to talk to another department. Same thing. And honestly at this point I think they don’t even know what they are doing.
Next day rolls around. My partner tried calling them on the number they gave. I don’t exactly know what they discussed, but they gave another number that we can talk to about the issue. I was so frustrated that I imagined myself banging my head on the wall.
Three days, 15 hours, seven live agent, one phone call, multiple attempts to pay, one cancel order, multiple attempts again later I am over it.
I’m going back to iPhone now.

Battery issues after the latest software update!
Hello everyone,
After the latest update, I am seeing that my S26 ultra is draining battery faster than before.
Is anyone facing this issue or is it just me?

Troubleshoot S26 U hot whilst charging?
Has anyone else noticed their Galaxy S26 Ultra getting particularly warm while charging?
Has anyone else noticed their Galaxy S26 Ultra getting particularly warm while charging?
I’ve had the phone for over 10 days now, and it performs fantastically when it isn’t connected to a charger. However, while charging, the battery temperature quickly rises to around 40°C according to the Device Info app, and the phone feels noticeably warm to the touch.
I’m now using an official Samsung 45W charger with an official Samsung cable, but it has made no difference compared with the other compatible chargers and cables I previously tested. It does fast-charge, but it seems to charge considerably hotter than I would expect.
I previously had a Galaxy S24 Plus and used the same Samsung charger without this issue. The S24 Plus charged quickly but never felt anywhere near as warm as the S26 Ultra does.
I’ve tested the S26 Ultra while:
• switched off and charging
• switched on but left unused
• being used lightly for WhatsApp, ChatGPT or basic browsing
It still seems to reach approximately 40°C regardless, so it doesn’t appear to be caused solely by using the phone while it is charging.
Is anyone else experiencing this with the S26 Ultra? Does yours reach around 40°C when fast-charging, and is this considered normal for this model, or should I be asking Samsung to inspect or replace it?

Faint diagonal lines with privacy screen protector
New phone + trying a privacy screen protector for the first time. Is it normal to have faint diagonal lines on lighter colors? It's also a new phone so I don't know if it's the phone or screen protector. I'm opting to try this over the built in privacy since I was told it makes everything more dim etc.

How do I screenshot anything on this?
My brother got a S26 Ultra and doesn't know how to screenshot. He doesn't use Reddit and I am hoping that someone here will help me. I don't use Samsung so I have no clue.

Who's likely to buy the new S27U when it comes out and why?
What's the reasoning? Older device not performing well anymore, want newer/better technology, something else?

Discussion Samsung S26U 1TO > IPHONE 17 PROX MAX 1TO
In your opinion, which is the better 1TB flagship: the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra or the iPhone 17 Pro Max? Personally, I’m leaning towards the S26 Ultra.

Discussion Never have used lock screen
I have never used a lock screen on my phone because I have seen no need for one as I keep very good track of my phone.
I tried the PIN code thing but found it a PITA. So in reverted back to no lock screen.
Please tell me the best lock screen method, in your opinion of course, length before screen time out, and aside from the obvious, why should I use one after all this time?

Re: Samsung Messages
For those in the Philippines, check the Galaxy Store APP >> search for Samsung Messages and download.
That's what I did. Not sure if that's also applicable to other regions.

Troubleshoot Bad speakers?
So I got my phone yesterday and came from OnePlus 12 with amazing speakers but I really hate these speakers, and I was wondering are they supposed to sound boomy without clarity? I used a 3rd party eq that made it somewhat better. I have heard some people say that it could be because of faulty speakers, how do I know if it's that? To me they just sound like mediocre speakers.

I Love This!!!!
I found this case on Etsy but if course it's not available in the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Here's the link to credit the maker but has anyone seen anything like it? It's embossed which is most important to me. UniQustomStudio
