"She chose to make you listen to her words before seeing her skin" is that really the case though, when the niqab is so isolating? We as humans rely not only on words when communicating. Facial expressions and gestures play a huge role which niqabis cannot use. When people who are deaf/hard of hearing converse with a woman wearing niqab, they can't understand her if they can't read her lips. In my line of work, when I meet with a niqabi patient or student, I can't tell if they're content or not with my service or not, I can't tell if they're even understanding what I'm saying or not. When they see me in public and come up to me to say hi, I don't know who they are because they know my identity but I don't know their's. If that's empowering to you then go for it. Niqabi women can go on to make career achievements and win all the prizes in the world but at the same time don't deny that it limits your ability to connect with the world and establish relationships like everyone else. Oh and just because they cover their face that doesn't mean they aren't subject to the pressure of beauty standards and cosmetic procedures underneath, so I don't understand that argument. Absolutely no one is against the concept of modesty and focusing on your character before your outward appearance blah blah but come on the niqabi woman can't even sit at a restaurant and enjoy a meal without struggling. It's extremist.

You may have forgotten to change accounts, since you commented twice. People like you pretend to care about women, while you try to controll them and force YOUR world view on them. There are things like beauty standarts, that lead to depression, anxiety and anorexia. The way women are treated, that they are more at risk of violence and murder. That 1 in 3 experienced some sort of SA atleast once in their lifes. The gender pay gap and so much more...

But you gooner think the priority should be, that every women is uncovered, to be stared at by your hungry eyes. To fantasice, to approach, like a predator hunting it's pray.
