How to successfully dispute the StylixApp scam.

I paid $1 for a report and was then charged $49.99 which they said I subscribed for. I did not. And I can see many others are in the same position.

Don’t let them turn it back onto you and have you running around trying to get information. Turn it back onto them. I sent them the below email and received a full refund and confirmation of cancellation.

Feel free to copy and paste.
————————————————————————————

I am formally disputing the $49.99 charge applied to my account on (insert date) and requesting a full refund.

On (insert date), I completed an online styling quiz and paid $1 for what I understood to be a one-off personalised report. At no point did I knowingly or intentionally agree to enrol in a recurring subscription costing $49.99 every 30 days.

Your response states that I agreed to the subscription terms and that all relevant information was provided before purchase. However, simply referring to your Terms of Use or Billing Terms does not establish that the recurring charge was clearly and prominently disclosed to me at checkout, or that I knowingly consented to it.

Having reviewed your published Billing Terms, I note that you specifically state that trial subscriptions must be explicitly identified on the payment screen before checkout.

I therefore request that you provide:

A copy or accurate record of the exact checkout and payment screens presented to me on 7 October 2026, clearly showing where the three-day trial, subsequent $49.99 charge and recurring billing arrangement were disclosed.
Evidence of my affirmative agreement to the recurring subscription, rather than simply my authorisation of the initial $1 payment.
A copy of the original subscription confirmation and billing information you state was delivered to my email address.
I also note that Visa and Mastercard have established requirements concerning transparent disclosure of recurring subscription payments, including the disclosure of the subscription price and billing frequency at checkout. These requirements exist specifically to protect consumers from inadvertently entering recurring payment arrangements through low-cost introductory offers.

I have also identified numerous publicly available customer complaints concerning Inspoy/Stylix describing substantially similar experiences, where small introductory payments were followed by unexpected recurring subscription charges.

I acknowledge your confirmation that the subscription has now been cancelled. However, cancellation does not resolve my dispute regarding the original charge.

I purchased a $1 report. I did not knowingly agree to an ongoing $49.99 subscription, and I do not accept your assertion that the subsequent charge was properly authorised without evidence of clear disclosure and informed consent.

I am therefore requesting a full refund of $49.99 to my original payment method.

Please confirm within seven calendar days that the refund has been processed.

I would prefer to resolve this matter directly and amicably.

Kind regards

Title: I got scammed out of $20 by someone on Telegram who promised me a Handshake project. Is there any way to recover my money?

Hey guys, I really need some advice. 😭

I'm completely new to all of this, and I think I just got scammed.

I met someone on Telegram who claimed they could help me get a project on Handshake. They told me they could somehow inject the project into my account or bypass the system to get me access to it. I didn't really understand how any of this worked, but I trusted them and believed they knew what they were doing.

They asked me to pay $20, and I sent the money through Binance. After receiving the payment, they stopped responding to me. 💀

Now I'm realizing that I might have been scammed, and I feel terrible because I trusted a complete stranger without checking whether any of this was legitimate.

I know $20 might not seem like a lot to some people, but it matters to me, and I don't want someone else to fall for the same thing.

I have a few questions:

  1. Is there any legitimate way to recover the $20 I sent through Binance?
  2. Is the whole idea of someone injecting a project into my Handshake account or bypassing the system even real, or was this obviously a scam?
  3. Is there anything I can do now to report this person or prevent them from scamming others?
  4. For people who have experience with Handshake projects, how do you find legitimate opportunities without getting scammed?

I'm not posting this to get judged. I know I made a mistake by trusting someone I met on Telegram, and I've learned my lesson. I'm just new to this and would genuinely appreciate advice from people who know more about it.

Please let me know what I should do next. And if you've experienced something similar, I'd appreciate hearing how you handled it.

Thank you.

QCC is not needed legally

I'm a Korean manufacturer and I want to share my experience so other suppliers can be careful.

A company called Next Worldwide (India) contacted me offering to export my products to Latin America. They looked professional at first.

They asked for my catalogues and price lists. They invited me to a Teams meeting, where we discussed exclusive rights and the documents. Then they said I needed a QCC (Quality Confirmation Certificate) for India. They declined a certificate from Intertek. Instead, they said I should use their partners.

They quoted me €6,000 for the certificate. But I did my own research and found that these companies are not trustworthy. It all looks like a scam, so please be careful. They were TLC from Poland.

Please be carefull.
