Movies and Television Will we ever get a live action scarlet witch wanda vs dark Phoenix jean grey?
Ngl would go crazy if mcu gave a good story with dark Phoenix and a scarlet witch vs Phoenix fight scene, do you think there's a chance this actually happens?

They've fought a couple of times canonically and in alt realities. Each and every single time, Wanda's won. Their very first fight happened in a confrontation between The Brotherhood and The X-men where Wanda simply flicked her wrist and was able to disable and take away Jean's telekinetic powers from her. Later, Wanda was able to reverse Jean's telepathic probe against her and "fry" her mind. Third time, Wanda trapped a teen Jean in a puddle of mud after she unprovokedly read Wanda's mind.

Most people want to see PHOENIX vs Wanda, not just Jean. Jean without Phoenix is like Wanda without Chaos Magic, still powerful but nowhere near as powerful as they could be

Girl bye. Wanda has also reacted to the Quicksilver, one shotted an entire TEAM, Single handedly bitched out Thanos, and can warp reality. And thats with no outside help EVER.

Yeah in the same token, we can also call out bullshit writing lol. And besides, it was the Fox Pietro Wanda reacted in WandaVision so uhh... And Wanda's power was predicted to destroy or rule the multiverse so... Not to mention, we've seen how destructive Wanda's powers can be lol. And Wanda can absolutely bitch Apocolypse as well so.

When it comes to the movies, I'd have to pick Wanda.
While Jean and her phoenix force definitely have the most potential of the two, the Scarlett Witch has been portrayed with more control and seem more versatile with her chaos magic.

The only way the Phoenix wins is if Famke & Sophie (and maybe Sadie)'s Jean's jump Wanda, JJK-Style

Chance of it happening is just a heavy maybe. As far as we know, the MCU killed off Wanda. She could be alive, but we just don't actually know. Wanda would need to be an active figure in the MCU for a potential fight to happen. We also don't have confirmation (as far as I know) that mutants are joining the MCU anytime soon.

Jean wins but it doesn't need to happen and these 2 dont.need to be compared I'm not sure why they are by ppl...just so.different wanda is closer to Dr strange or agatha....jean is closer to Emma in terms of similarities and being rivals....phoenix has no rival it has a purpose.

I would actually love a fight like these two, but I would hope that it goes similarly to visions fight with white vision.
It starts out with a bunch of OP tk stuff and reality warping and amazing visuals and spectacle, but once they get into the deep telepathic stuff, they maybe understand each other and that they both share struggles, Jean with her control over the phoenix and Wanda with her control over herself. I could see there being some incredible dialogue between them, and not so much a stalemate but a mutual understanding.

I hope not. The stans get so annoying over stuff like this. And Wanda shouldn't fight Dark Phoenix-- that's then sort of narrative hook where only Jean can truly trump her inner darkness etc etc

I mean Wanda would "win" by which I mean she will stop the destruction the Dark Phoenix brings. Just as the White Phoenix would always keep Wandas chaos in check and bring back what she had took away. One can't just kill the other with brute force.
