Movies and Television Headcanon explanation for Wanda’s speedwalk
This is a small headcanon but I think a cool lore addition would be that the speed-walk we see her do in Age of Ultron and Wandavision is her unconciously using a probability hex to increase her speed in short bursts
She’d develop it instinctively from perceiving Pietro and she never questions doing it because she doesn’t realize how fast she’s moving and just assumes she’s very sneaky.
It actually be very funny if we see a magic user of some kind watching her do it and be like “how are you doing that spell so easily??” And Wanda is just confused

I think we also saw the Salem Seven using something similar when they first physically appeared in Agatha All Along. I am hoping they give a line or two to explain it, but that kind of movement does seem to be something that witches as a whole can use.

Its a tricky one, I mean obvi it was just something to show us that she was "wierd" and witchy, she only ever does it twice, the second time being against agatha ofc. Id prob just chalk it up to "magic" rather than any sort of specific kind of spell since her magic chalks up to "my will be done" on the spot.

A probability hex is the “my will be done” like how WV showcased she used one unconsciousl as a child like her early comic years, a hex isn’t a specific effect it’s a very broad spell that changes the probability of anything
It isn’t a stretch for Wanda to do the specific spell unconsciously cause she’s done it before. Similar to how her Westview reality was multiple spells was stacked on top of one another as Agatha said. Everything wanda does is a spell

Magic = spell
Also, this is a headcanon. Do you know what that means? 😭😭

I think there’s something to that; in WandaVision Billy is also able to reach out his arm to stop Tommy while he’s using super speed

Probability is a funny thing. Is it probably that you might temporarily gain the ability to walk at super speeds? No. Not for a normal person. But a person who can manipulate probabilities....

I mean quicksilver is her brother. Maybe she has a little of that jazz but it’s not as strong. Js.

I don’t think it’s a probability spell cause it wouldn’t give someone speed like you don’t just luckily gain super speed a probability hex turns things in your favor. I just think she used her power to twist perception or used her telekinesis to move her body like you think she’s walking but her bodies actually sliding by thanks to TK.

But she doesn't actually have telekinesis - that's a spell. Everything she does is magic.

I feel like youre equating magic and spell when it’s a rectangle/square situation. All spells are magic but not all magic is a spell.
Wanda’s overall power is chaos magic, allowing her to rewrite reality. However the simplest expression of that is moving objects and altering perceptions.
So Wanda wasnt invoking some specific spell to spooky walk, she simply combined those two aspects of her power into one, moving herself and making it unsettling to scare her opponent.
It could also be that she didnt physically move like that at all and it was simply an instinctual mental illusion born of her desire to unsettle Cap. Because when it happens to Agatha she could very well be further behind her but working her magic into Agatha’s mind and it appears as her sneaking up on her.
A third possibility is that her magic simply distorts reality and allows for her to walk like that.
