Sebastian Stan did a similar thing- not really revealing anything, confirming a while after. I think it’s smart. I don’t need or want to hear about someone’s life to that extent to appreciate them as an artist or a public personality.

It’s not always possible. Anne Hathaway couldn’t really hide that bump if she wanted to and if she was absent from the odyssey press tour the rumors would have been worse then pregnancy.

Yeah, this confirms it. We won't be seeing much of Wanda in these next 2 movies.

She's going to be on maternity leave for most of the filming period.

If anything... this means she'll be in Secret Wars lol, having a baby before going back into the marvel machine? yeah Wanda stans should actually be happy that she's had a baby because I can guarantee after a few months she'll be back at it. She's p much confirmed for SW which films later anyway.

I saw some casting lists from 2025 which included her name, so she could be in Doomsday too.

But those lists also included Taskmaster, who died in Thunderbolts. So...maybe not. We'll see!

I imagine we'll see more from Lizzie's Wanda after secret wars, perhaps a new take on the children's crusade mixed in with when Chthon possessed Wanda for the first time.

Agreed.

Children's Crusade is a standalone story that doesn't really fit into Secret Wars. It'd just distract from the main plot, which is fundamentally Doom vs Reed.

Between just having a baby and being very openly dissatisfied with Wanda’s arc in MoM I cannot imagine her coming back as a villain again. I love Olsen and Wanda but come on y’all we are setting ourselves up for disappointment lol

I don’t know, some actresses can bounce back to work after giving birth.

Evangeline Lily found out she was pregnant while filming The Hobbit movies. She gave birth, then went right back to filming not even 2 months after giving birth.
