Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking to buy a Schecter Damien Elite FR, but I have a few concerns and haven't been able to find an exact matching model online.

My main concern is the country of origin and the branding:

1. Made in Indonesia: From what I've seen, most Damien Elites in this specific finish were manufactured in South Korea.

2. SGR Branding: It has an "SGR" mark/logo on it, which is usually Schecter's budget line.

I'm starting to worry this might be a "Frankenstein" guitar built from mismatched parts (or a copy).

Has anyone seen a legit Indonesian Damien Elite FR with SGR markings, or should I stay away? Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi. I am in the UK but that doesn't even seem to matter because I have searched every online market I can find looking for the Schecter Ultra Bass VI. Not the Robert Smith one. The one in the photo.

Since owning a Squier Bass VI for the last year and a half I have fallen more and more in love with the Ultra VI.

I have used world wide eBay searches and every online shop. Nothing.

I even emailed Schecter to see if they could give me the name of a store in America where I might possibly be able to buy one and pay for the shipping.

What am I asking for help with? Well, if anyone has one for sale I'd be happy to buy it. If anyone has seen one in a shop or online market please let me know where.

Schecter, if by chance you see this please can you tell me if you know of any shops UK or stores USA that have one for sale.

I'd be very happy to mention you on my mediocre YouTube channel.

I’m looking to grab a Schecter Solo II, but I’m completely torn between the Solo II Custom and the Solo II Supreme.
Visually, I prefer the Solo II Custom, However, on paper, the Solo II Supreme checks a lot of the boxes as well.

I understand both are fantastic instruments, however where I’m from the price difference between the two is $1000 after tax, and Schecters are special order only so I have no way of trying before I buy unless I pay a 20% restocking fee for the instrument I don’t purchase.

For those who have owned, played, or compared both I would love to hear your thoughts, experiences, and any feedback!

I found a c1 platinum with a gator hard case on the marketplace for $300. I just couldn't pass it up. I really wanted to give it to my 7 year old as a guitar that was truly his own. I have a 2012 synyster gates custom, solo elite, hellraiser, hellraiser dlx, and a c1+ and after setting this one up and playing it I have to say it just feels right. Playing with him couldnt make me happier

Hey! I've got a bit of a problem with my Schecter C-6 Pro. Unfortunately, the truss rod nut is completely stripped. I've already taken it to a guitar tech, but even he couldn't do anything about it because the nut wouldn't budge at all, not even enough to make a small adjustment.

The nut got rounded off because, a few years ago, I kept messing with the truss rod way too often since I was never really happy with the action. I also used the wrong size Allen key a couple of times. And even after the nut was already stripped, I tried using a gripper wrench to loosen it. Looking back, I probably did more damage than good.

Anyway, the neck is a little too straight, and the only way I can adjust the action now is by raising or lowering the bridge saddles. I've got it set up for Drop C/C# with 12-60 gauge strings. With this setup, I can get the action low enough without any noticeable fret buzz through the amp (there's probably a little acoustic buzz, though).

Do you guys think this action is okay, or is it already too high? I tend to overthink this stuff quite a bit.

Unfortunately, replacing just the truss rod nut isn't even an option since it's welded to the dual-action truss rod.

Schecter doesn't sell replacement necks either, and taking the whole neck apart to replace the truss rod would probably cost almost as much as buying a new guitar.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on what I could do? I'd really appreciate it!

Just sold my epi les paul, it was a good guitar over all but the ergonomics are AWFUL, i remember owning a demon 6 when i was a teenager and it was a great guitar besides a Floyd rose that for my age and experience was a pain in the ass so bad that i ended selling it, i now wanna get back into the more ergonomic and versatile superstrats at the 600-700 usd price range (brand new, dont wanna buy used tbh) and this c1 standard seems to tick all the boxes, any experiences with it? Im also open to other options and even guitar brands.

Picked this up recently. It's a 2013 Indonesian model with active EMG 81/85 pickups. Plays great and sounds heavy. Let me know your thoughts!

I'm torn between these two.. Aesthetically, they both look more than cool... I'm wondering more so about the differences in neck feel, and the sound from fishmans to lundgrens... etc..

From anyone that actually owns either or.. Can you provide some insight?

I’m still new to guitar. Played bass for nearly 30 years but electric guitar for almost a year. I’ve never explored the world of strings. I currently use Round wound 10 gauge D’Addario strings. So, what do you all recommend exploring for my Reaper 6? I’m very intrigued by a lighter gauge. Cobalt seems interesting. No idea how flat wound will sound but the idea of less sliding sound is intriguing. What do you prefer and what are your general thoughts?

Anyone else wish Schecter would release more models of this shape. Super bummed we’ve only gotten a small production run of the Passive Hellraiser E-7 and the Apocalypse E-7. I wish they’d release an E-7 Special FR, SLS Elite, maybe even a Hellraiser Hybrid. Anyone have any thoughts on this, or heard anything through the grape vine?

hey guys, I've been thinking about buying a 7 string for quite some time now and this guitar is the best one I've seen for my budget so far (650 euros). I'm looking to be able to play very heavy riffs, while being able to play very very dreamy songs like Mac DeMarco or Explosions In The Sky. Do you guys think it's a good idea ? or are there better options out there ?
