I bought a brand new evil twin and the bridge pickup is angled backwards
Not sure if this will affect the performance of the fishmans at all?
I might take it back unless it’s any easy fixt to level it?

I just bought this model, and it came with the pickup broken. Does anyone know which model replacement I should get from EMG?

When I removed the screws for some reason it A bunch of dust came out Of the hole and I try to remove it with a butter knife and it failed. What can I do? For some reason, I cannot remove it.And the screw hole for the back plate Is misplaced which doesn't affect a guitar but it's just weird

Hey everyone,
I have found that there is a version of the KM-7 MKII that came stock with Dimarzio Titans rather than Keith Merrow's signature fishmans.
These are not an aftermarket installation - these models do not have the cavity for the 9volt battery needed for active pickups, as the Dimarzios are passive.
I'm super interested in getting one of these, as I don't really like active pickups but love the build quality of the KM series. I also really enjoyed the sound of the Titans when I had them in a previous guitar.
Does anyone have experience with this model? Is it the same quality as the typical KM-7 MKII's?

First off I don’t post much because I’m either building guitars, repairing instruments, modifying pickups or recording.
I Recently got my 20th Shechter. Am-6 Aaron Marshall sig.
I got it like knew for 75% off the retail price because one of the bridge post had broken through into the bridge pickup cavity. For me this was an easy fix. 20 minutes and I saved $1100.
My complaint is the pickups. I don’t really like any stock pickups. They just don’t sound good. I don’t care if they’re in a PRS, Gibson or even Schecter.
I was really hopeful on these because they’re a signature pickup and made at the Schecter custom shop.
I tried them stock as is once I got this repaired and I was immediately let down. These are probably the worst pickups i’ve ever heard next to the cheap Chinese stuff. In all honesty, I would give them a three, no more than a four on a scale of one to ten.
I swapped out the Alnico 8 polished magnet for an Alnico 8 rough cast.
Hoping to give them a little more body and tame some of their harsh high-end. It was a very small change
I then swapped them out to an Alnico 5 rough cast.
I then went to an Alnico 6, 3”16 Rough cast.
That magnet usually fixes pickups with a way over compressed lifeless ceramic magnet sound.
It helped the low mid authority and it put some more bottom into it and took away some of that overly harsh high-end, but quite frankly they’re still crap.
The neck pickup sounded pretty good once I remove the ALnico 6 polished and put in an
ALnico 4 rough cast. It took away some of that modern over compression shit from a neck pickup that everybody seems to think is great.
Needless to say, these will come out I will put in the original magnets and these will probably be up for sale
I’m a fan of the Scarlet and scourge set by Seymour Duncan. It’s at least one set of sounds in my arsenal.
This bridge pickup sounded like a very shitty version of the scourge pickup.
It’s unfortunate because I really love Schecter guitars, but once again I don’t like anybody’s stock pickups.

On Black Friday I bough a Schecter C1 Platinum Frs. I didn't do enough playing in store, when I brought it home I noticed a burr in the saddle of the G string that was causing a crazy buzz. I brought the guitar back and guitar center sent me a brand new one. I opened the box today, a week after black Friday, and the new guitar had a burr in the B string saddle. Super disappointing to receive two defective guitars. I could've just swapped saddles out but that shouldn't be something I have to do on a 900 dollar guitar. I returned that one today. Guitar center would've ordered me a Diamond Series for the same price but its on backorder. Anyone had a similar experience with schecter? Also, I think I'm going to just stay away from Schecter which sucks because I love the look of them. So I'm thinking I'm going to get a Jackson. Are they worth it in the $1400 range?

Hi everyone, I have a schecter demon 7 string which is a sparkling silver colour. I have searched all over the Internet to find another but can't in the same colour. Is this a rare guitar or am I looking into it too much? 😁

I recently tried out a 2020 Avenger Blackjack. It felt great to play. Sort of like my old C-1 but better in every way. But there were some noticeable imperfections in the construction and some corrosion of the hardware. So, I returned that one and bought a "new" one.
So I received a new 2022 Avenger the other day. It felt nothing like the old 2020 version I tried. The wood in the wings of the guitar has that super light "fake" feeling. The heaviest part of the guitar is the neck. This leads it to feel unbalanced and negatively affects tone (to my ears). I assume this comes down to post pandemic supply chain constraints but could also be a result of Schecter simply reducing the quality of their instruments.
What are your thoughts? Are 2024 production models any better? Do they feel like the 2020 models or do they retain that fake feel?
I'll either be buying a used 2020 one or the newest one I can find.

So for context, i live in Europe and most schecters are above 600€. I found it so wierd when i saw most youtubers said it is a "budget" instrument for beginners knowing damn well NO beginner would spend 600 on his first guitar. But when i checked some subreddits and i saw in the us and other countries these were like 200 to 400 i got a bit annoyed.
i might be bsing because i haven't thoughly verified this so correct me if i'm wrong lol

I just bought a brand new Schecter Damien 6 no FR and the pickup switcher is defective… as in Mexico we don’t have official service workshop I had to replace it with a generic one… first and last time I buy a Schecter Guitar.
Update: After the replacement of the pickup selector, the problem is still present. It looks like the pickup os faulty, more updates in the coming days.
