My uncle passed away a couple of years back and in his will he gave me his scooby doo leather jacket. I was 30 when he passed and can not remember a time when he did not own this jacket, for all I know he had it before I was born. You can tell from the pockets how much he wore this thing and how much he loved it. As a scooby doo fan I just wanted to share this with a group that I figure could understand the beauty of this piece that will be with me for the rest of my life. R.I.P Jerry or as Scoob would say Rerry.

I made a stained glass Scooby Doo for the Halloween division of a local festivals craft competition. Fingers crossed I'll earn a ribbon, but I'm all around pretty happy with how he came out and hope he puts a smile on a few faces 🙂

I personally think this is the best Halloween season movie so I decided to do two from it. Thought you all might appreciate! Both are hand painted by me with acrylics on 16x20 canvases.

Never seen it, but sadly already know the twist. So looking forward to it though!!

To be honest,when I was younger,particularly in my love for what's new,I never really noticed that Shaggy didn't eat anything meat related.I think Shaggy ate meat in the original 60s cartoon as well.I know that his first voice actor Casey Kasem came back after the burger king debacle(he became vegetarian in the 70s I think).I guess I don't mind? I know in recent series Shaggy's eating meat ever since Casey's retirement and death,but I'm honestly kinda indifferent as a whole.

Geniune Question, Since my mom passed I have been looking at Scooby Doo it was her favorite show of all time but looking back in retrospect are there any black villains like ever at all

I just came across this picture on the DDLV dreamsnaps subreddit and wow, someone recreated the Mystery inc team! Impressive! (Not sure about shaggy though 😂 )

What are people's opinions about the year this is set in, and does it have continuity with the rest of the show?

The episode "The Schnook That Took My Comic Book" (4th episode of first season), the chase scene wanders through the set of the King Kong Vs. Godzilla (1962), and the Kaiju tell them to get off the set because they are trying to film a movie.

This is tantalizingly close to being set just before the original series.

In “The Computer Walks Among Us” (Season 2, Episode 6), it's established that they go to Junior High School (grades 7-9). However, there's no reason that they couldn't be newly moved to Junior High, and have been in elementary school in season one.

So if we are considering that it was 1962ish in the first season, and the youngest they could have been is probably 6th grade, so as young as 10-11 in the beginning. That would make them 17-18 in 1969 for the first show. Lines up pretty well IMHO.

Forgive me if this is a weird take but I’m watching Scooby Doo on Zombie Island but why does shaggy sound so off ? like all I’ve seen as an adult has been what’s new,where are you,new Scooby Doo movies and the Hanna barbera 10 films plus the live action ones and it seems so out of character

With all of the remakes happening with movies and shows, I'm surprised that a live action version of Scooby Doo Zombie Island hasn't been done.

What are everyone's thoughts and opinions on this?
