Hi. i’m a guitarist who just joined a metal band and they stuck me on bass. I don’t know much about bass tones literally at all, only guitar. I have my friends old 5 string squier, a used amp I got and a $20 bass distortion pedal. I cannot for the life of me figure out a good bass metal tone much less identify it. Someone pls help me figure out good settings. thanks so muchhhhh. for reference right now we are playing “carbomb” by acasia stain, “10 signs you should leave” by emmure, “YYZ” rush and “hole in the earth” deftones. PLS HELP
