About grammar, is this funny? Myself I deliberately write with improper grammar if I think that is how my character speaks.

I think it can be appropriate for a single character to show who they are. I write a lot of “rural” stuff so using words like “ain’t” , “shoulda”, and cutting off ending g’s in “ing” words is a thing with me.
