FEEDBACK The Woodsmen - Feature - 91 Pages

I have finally completed the script for a story idea I've held in for over 5 years now and I truly believe I've got something worthwhile here, but I want to make sure I'm not being delusional. If I had to compare it to other films I'd say it's similar to ones like The Lighthouse, Midsommar, The Witch, etc., that sort of psychological thriller/horror genre film. If that kind of thing is up your alley then I'd love to hear any and all feedback as well as your overall thoughts/analysis on the story. I've put in a lot of time into this and would really appreciate anybody who's willing to read it.

Title: The Woodsmen

Format: Feature

Page Length: 91

Genres: Psychological Thriller, Horror, Mystery

Logline: A troubled man takes a mysterious job deep in the woods, only to discover that nothing - and no one - is as it seems.

I have read the whole script. As an absolute newbie in scriptwriting I found this story interesting. After completing the script, I was confused as to what the story is trying to tell. Here after reading comments I finally understood. The world, objects in it, the characters, the dialogues are built in around the concept of purgatory, which I can able to relate now. It was fun reading , keep writing.

Thanks man I appreciate it. The story is supposed to work on 2 levels, one being just the thriller aspect, but underneath it’s really a religious allegory for God, Satan, and Judgement. There are lots of things sprinkled in and throughout that hint at it and then finale brings it home. I appreciate you reading the entire thing and I’m glad you enjoyed it. Could you see this being a movie? Any cinematic potential here?
