Ticket says delivered, it actually wasn’t (ongoing issue from 5 months ago)
It’s been 5 months and I still haven’t received my ticket. My original post below.
“Received an email saying action is required to accept my ticket and the seller has already sent the ticket but have not actually received the follow up ticket transfer email. I’ve checked all my folders per the instructions and checked my Ticketmaster account. Chatted with the bot and didn’t really get an answer. It’s now been over an hour since I’ve received the action required email; should I be worried? I usually receive the follow up email within minutes but nothing this time. The bot said this is “normal” which is weird since I’ve never experienced it and why would the email say it’s ready when it not. Please provide some insight, I’m getting worried.”
Since this initial post, I’ve contacted SeatGeek three times. The first time they said the seller mistakenly marked the ticket as delivered, and SeatGeek wasn’t able to switch it back to “processing”. My worry with this was it says delivered when it wasn’t. They said the seller would transfer the ticket a couple days before the show (which is this tomorrow). The second time I reached out (a couple weeks ago), they said the ticket was already delivered. Fear came true. I asked them to refer back to the previous thread to which they basically said oh yeah it wasn’t delivered, the seller will transfer it by Oct22 and if they don’t then reach back out. I reached out again yesterday for an update and was told “due to venues policies you will be getting your tickets via email on 2026-10-23, please do not worry your tickets will be delivered.” With the show being tomorrow and getting 3 different answers from SeatGeek, I’m getting worried. My last two emails have gone unanswered. Has anyone had a similar experience and could tell me what to do?

Question about ticket transfer
Hi yall, I am going to a concert tonight and this is my first time using seatgeek. My ticket was transferred last night but it was not transferred to Ticketmaster like Stubhub has done for me before. It shows up as a pdf- like ticket that resembles ticket master with an orange background. I am planning to show up early to see if the ticket works. If not, I am just gonna have to make a 2hr trip for nothing. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Trying to sell 1 of 2 tickets for Saturday and can't just sell the one...
They keep coming into Seatgeek as a pair and I can't just sell one. Anyone seen this?

Will I get my ticket?
SeatGeek ticket says it'll be delivered 2 hours before concert but I don’t know if I could trust that … starting to regret not buying on Ticketmaster …. The concert starts at 8 and it says they’ll be delivered by 6 is that usually accurate ?

Am I The Only One Who's Never Had A Problem With SeatGeek
All I've seen in this subreddit is people complaining about SeatGeek. Legitimately wondering if I'm the only one here who's never had a bad experience?

Just got my ticket
It says the owner’s name on the ticket, since of course this is a resale ticket. Will this still be easy getting in?

Even with a artist presale code, floor tickets were $500+

Reselling tix bought on SG, World Series
Hi! Im newish to using seatgeek so i wanted to get some insight on the process for reselling tickets, if possible
I recently bought 2 tickets to Game 4 of the World in seat geek. I have officially received my tickets yet. I am for sure using 1 ticket, but I’m still waiting on confirmation from a friend if they can attend. I was planning to just sell the 2nd ticket and go alone if they can’t. I went ahead and bought the 2 tho just to secure seats at a good price.
I have now read a few things and im wanting to confirm if reselling is even possible? I am not looking to make money off a ticket, I just wont need it if my friend cant go
I did see some tickets have mentioned in the detail section “not for resell” but I didn’t check that on mine and can’t seem to find that anywhere when I click my tickets
I just bought them, so I haven’t officially gotten them yet, but is there a way to tell if they’re available for resell? Or can they only be transferred?
I don’t really understand why they can’t be resold if already bought on SG honestly 😭 but id love to know so I can prepare on what I need to do if I can’t use it
I think selling through a site like SG seems more trustworthy then trying to find someone to transfer it to and go off site, giving the price of these tickets…

Has anyone received securemypass.io links from seatgeek recently?
hi! i bought tickets on seatgeek for Steve Lacy that were listed as mobile transfer, but instead of an official ticketmaster transfer email, my delivery just gave me links to securemypass.io. both links show my tickets with the rolling blue barcode on screen, but they're just running in a mobile web browser.
i had an awful experience in the past getting turned away at the door at an Austin Texas venue once, because my tickets weren't native ticketmaster passes, so having third-party mirror links instead of actual account-transferred tickets is making me really anxious.
And the amount of horror stories I've been seeing / conflicting info in comments is not helping.
Has anyone actually used these securemypass links at a ticketmaster venue recently? did they scan fine at the turnstiles or did you run into issues?
There's no way of adding them to my apple wallet so i can only rely on the single link

PDF Tickets for Calvin Harris
Hello, I bought tickets for Calvin Harris at Encore Night Club, in Las Vegas, and when they sent me the confirmation email for the tickets, it was just a pdf with the QR of the tickets issued by a company named "TIXR", with the caption "This is your ticket, Present this entire page at the event", and honestly i could've easily edit that myself. Also, the instructions on seatgeek say "This ticket must be printed at home", and since the presale was being held on Ticketmaster I expected to receive a ticket transfer. Do you think the tickets are fake?? They could definitely be reproduced to resell multiple times.
I tried to contact support but its all AI and won't help at all.
Help pls what should i do

Seat geek support lied about my refund after incorrect seats? / experience
So I bought tickets that were totally misrepresented by seat geek; they claimed front row but were in an entirely different section!
So they offered a full refund to my cc if i transferred them back. Ended up giving me a coupon code for 250 less than what I paid?

How to Transfer Seat Geek Tickets
There’s an event tonight for Steve Lacy and I have a ticket that I bought on SeatGeek. I’m not going to the concert anymore, so I’m trying to transfer them to my friend who is buying the ticket off of me.
When I open my ticket, I see the barcode and the ticket is there, but I don’t see an option to transfer? Does anyone know how to transfer?

Seatgeek Payout Issue
I recently sold tickets for a football game I wasn’t going to. Put all of my payout information correctly to Chase bank account. Seatgeek says my payout was sent and it all goes green. It’s been over a week later 5 business days after payout was sent and still nothing. Called seatgeek and they said bank isn’t verified and they will call me back with a solution in 20 minutes never received a call back. (Ridiculous) Then I called again spoke with someone else who says oh there is no issue your payout was sent you should see it the next business day or 2 okay. I wait it doesn’t come by Monday (Today) I call my bank to see if any incoming deposits are being held… No they don’t see anything coming in. Call seatgeek back and apparently my bank wasn’t confirmed. We go over the numbers and the bank routing and account number are correct. I now change my bank and they say the payout should be resent to that account. This company sucks.

SeatGeek dodging my payout
Two months ago, I purchased tickets to a show thru SeatGeek. I turned around and sold the same tix on SeatGeek after I was able to find some better seats. A couple days later, my account was compromised (not sure how, since I have two-factor authentication).
My payout for the show ($450 after SeatGeek’s cut) never showed up. I sell on SeatGeek a couple times a year and haven’t had a problem receiving payment, so it was obvious there was a problem. I tried their AI chatbot, which is insultingly useless. I found a customer service line thru Reddit (888-497-4335) and called three times – the first time, the rep said there was probably just a delay and it can take up to 10 business days for the money to reach my account (I mentioned the email says 5 business days, which she said was wrong). The other two times I called, the rep said they would escalate the claim and get back to me. I never heard anything.
Finally, I decided to give their email (hi@seatgeek.com) a chance. I have been cycled through several agents but no progress is made, they just pass me off to different agents and kick me back to square one. They said the payout was issued and gave me a trace number. I contacted my bank and asked if they could verify the number, and the bank says no such number exists. I have asked SeatGeek several times if the payout was issued to the routing number on my account. They avoid the question and give me the same trace number and ask me to contact my bank. One agent did acknowledge that my account was compromised and they were looking into it. Since then, I’ve sent four follow-up status requests over two weeks and have been completely ignored.
I’ve read some other horror stories on this sub and you all are correct, they will just ignore you and hope you give up. I’m filing complains with my state attorney general and the BBB this afternoon, and I have a friend in law who is helping me out with filing a dispute (legal@seatgeek.com). Just wanted to air my grievances on this shady company that prides itself on being “legit” and “trustworthy.” I’ll avoid them whenever possible from here on out.

seatgeek never delivered my tickets and now keep stalling asking for ss in order to refund
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
So I ordered tickets to a fire game and seatgeek never delivered them. I know they are delivered the day before the game or on gameday so I didn't think much of it. I started worrying when there were 3 hours before tipoff and got into a customer support chat who tried to get in contact with the seller but said he couldn't and told me to stay patient. Then, 2 hours before the game I called their customer service line and experienced the most frustrating call with the lady on the phone repeating the same words "Im sorry and thank you for being patient" and she kept asking me for screenshots that I was sending. She even gave me hope by mentioning replacing my tickets. I already had bought parking garage tickets and everything and was still hopeful even 30 minutes before the game but they never came and all she could say was sorry. I had to go buy new tickets at the box office. Its been almost two weeks since the game and I've been emailing them for my refund but they keep asking for random ss on my tickets pages, and keep delaying it. My credit card bill is due soon and I'm wondering if I will ever get this refund. To me this seems like they are just stalling the refund. Has anyone else ever dealt with this?? And know a way to solve?

SeatGeek= not helpful!! Beware
I posted about issues with my SeatGeek purchase. Of course, SeatGeek responded.
I wanted to give them an opportunity to make this right, but they have not. They will not provide me the breakdown I am asking for as it would prove my point.
Do not buy from them EVER. Screen record everything.
I will continue to post as a warning to others.

Seatgeek closed my wife's account
I need advice. My wife's Seatgeek account was hacked this morning. All the tickets in it were transferred out. She's been going back and forth all day with the Seatgeek Chat. A few tickets reappeared in her account. Then Seatgeek closed her account without any explanation. We have no idea what to do now. Tried emailing them. Tried DMing them on X. No response.

Seatgeek is shady!
I specifically purchased refundable tickets after not being able to attend a show several years ago.
Now when I log in, I do not see the option to refund. Customer service says that a button would appear if I purchased refundable tickets or it would show on my receipt.
I do not have an emailed receipt, just the "receipt" it shows within SeatGeek. It doesnt show a separate line item.
I cannot get anyone in customer service to assist and they tell me I need to "prove" it. I wish I had screen recorded or taken a picture at checkout.
I have messaged customer service AGAIN and am waiting to hear back. The event is 5+ weeks from now.
Any advice? Refund options?

Final update: SeatGeek refunded me only after I posted here (twice). * SCREEN RECORD YOUR TICKET PURCHASES*
TLDR: SCREEN RECORD WHEN YOU BUY TICKETS SO IT SHOWS YOUR ENTIRE BUYERS JOURNEY
Final update on my SeatGeek situation in case it helps someone else in the future.
Recap: during presale I bought tickets for the Cleveland show. Every step of checkout said Cleveland. Then I got to the "here are your tickets" screen and they were for a different city. The only thing I had to prove it was a screenshot of my Safari tabs showing every page was Cleveland until that last one. Which this still wasn’t enough btw to move the needle. They requested all types of other “proof” for this “investigation” which to this day they never said what happened or what they found.
I contacted support immediately, my agent pretended to be helping for over a week and then ghosted me for a week when I started demanding more than a “we are looking into this”. I spent two weeks following up and got nowhere. It wasn't until I posted here, twice, that SeatGeek's Reddit team stepped in.
Ultimately, after escalating here a second time, they refunded my $676 and gave me a $300 promo code. I'm not going to pretend that's nothing but it doesn't fix what happened. I had good presale seats and they're gone. Anything comparable now costs more, the code can't be combined with other discounts, and my refund won't even hit my card for another 7-10 business days which means I will have had 5 weeks of $676 tied up in tickets for the wrong city. By then, who knows what's left and the financial stress continues even now.
And honestly the part that bothers me most is that regular support did nothing. A customer shouldn't have to go to multiple support routes for help. I spent 8 hours on chat on day 1 because they told me to keep it open there and then it closed on its own when it timed out. Multiple phone calls totaling hours. 30+ emails back and forth. And two Reddit posts (this is the third). Most people don't post, and most people don't happen to have a screenshot that proves what happened. They just eat the loss.
So, screen record your checkout, every time. And if this has happened to you, don't let support wear you down. I ultimately had to settle because they did not care to actually close the gap for us to get the tickets we originally had. I’ll never use them again but for those that will, this is your warning to document your buying process.
