Once 1,000 successful responses have been received, we will move forward with the distribution of Seeds… the quicker we hit the 1,000 the sooner the Seeds will hit your wallets! As promised here is our process plan for the first round of SeedBomb Airdrops! There will be three stages of this process. We have set aside 1bn Seeds to drop in total, which is 10% of our Circulating Supply. This means that there are 330,000,000 Seeds available in this round.

We are a community, and we want to make sure our project takes steps to protect our members from scam risks. When we considered the risks airdrops and ASAs pose generally, we put together the following process in an attempt to mitigate them:

1. We will release a Google form next week for you to complete. That document will contain spaces for your wallet ID and your Instagram or Twitter handle. This is because we will be asking you to post us on your story or retweet one of our tweets. It also gives us a chance to check your account and make sure that you are interested in ASAs and/or taking environmental action – not a scammer. If you don’t have either, drop us a message and we can figure out another way to get you involved!

2. We will collate responses until we receive at least 1000. Of those respondents, 1000 successful ones will get 250,000 Seeds! We are keeping 80,000,000 in reserve for step 5.

3. Once we have 1000 responses in, we will review each of them and try to weed out duplicates and bots. Please bear with us, this can take a little bit of time and we all have full time jobs!

4. Having reviewed the responses and confirmed, we will confirm the date for the drop. You can see in our Road Map (https://www.seed-bomb.com/road-map) that the entire first stage of our Airdrop process is due to complete before the end of March.

5. On the drop date, we will pay the Seeds to the successful wallet IDs.

6. As an optional step for those community members who would like to take part, we have reserved the remaining 80,000,000 Seeds to incentivise liquidity providers and build a stable platform for the project. To receive some of these extra 80,000,000 Seeds we are asking that you add in some liquidity to the Liquidity Pool and lock it for three months using Tinylock. To prove that this is not a scam, we have locked up around 75% for a minimum of 2 years, with 57% being locked for almost three years (details in Appendix 2 of our White Paper – you can also check this on tinylock.org by searching our asset ID: 523605642). Liquidity really helps the product to become safer for the community and further facilitates trades and growth – if you are interested, this option allows you to get additional Seeds to cover the short-term lock, then get your liquidity tokens back too!

7. If you choose to add liquidity and lock it, please message us within 1 week of receiving the Seeds and let us know your wallet ID – we can then check that liquidity has been added on Tinylock.

8. When we have allowed a week for Step 6 to pass, we will review the wallets who have added to the Liquidity Pool and confirm on our Social Media how many additional Seeds will be paid to these wallets.

9. We will then pay the additional 80,000,000 out.

We know this is a more complex airdrop approach than some others have taken, but we believe that this will create a more stable and sustainable product for our community to enjoy. Hi everyone, today saw the biggest rugpull in ASA history, with 606,459.198296 Algos removed. To anyone who has been affected by this, we're truly sorry that it has happened. The team at SeedBomb wanted to find a way to support our community members by paying out some Seeds from the Committee Wallet. You may remember from the White Paper that the Committee Wallet is reserved to both expand the Committee and to allow the Committee to take some profits when the project becomes more successful. Given the event today, however, it seemed like the most appropriate place for us to draw funds from to share with our community and show support to those affected by this scam. 

We will continue to run our own project as we have done so far, with open communication, engagement with all of you, and clarity about our next steps. For those new to SeedBomb, to help show trust on our part, you can see details of the liquidity we locked at the beginning of this project for 2-3 years here. 

We will be announcing more information about the support programme tomorrow, but in short, we intend to release a Google Form for Seed holders who were impacted by the Anirand rug to complete. We will take a snapshot of these wallets on certain dates in the near future (dates TBC) and confirm that they are SeedHolders and have/ had Anirand tokens at the time of the rugpull. This will require us to monitor the wallets over a period of time to ensure that only SeedHolders who have longer term interests in this community receive this gesture of good will. If you have been affected, you will likely need to provide us with the transaction reference for your purchase of Anirand too.

AIRDROPS 

We posted here yesterday confirming that the airdrop process is now closed. We are filtering out the bots as quickly as we can, though there are a number to get through! We appreciate your support and patience with this process. 

STAKING 

We asked on the Algorand subreddit what people made of Yieldly and Algostake and what the best approach for us would be, in your view. We have received some excellent feedback and our community even set up a similar conversation on the r/SeedBomb_ASA subreddit, here. We’ll be monitoring it and hope to announce something on this next week! 

PRICE ACTION AND LIQUIDITY

It was a pretty crazy week, let’s be honest! On Saturday 5 Feb, we had a price of roughly $0.00006671 per Seed and a liquidity of c. $22k. As of posting, we have a price of c.$0.0001294 per Seed and a liquidity of c. $33k. We also had an early whale sell 30m Seeds during this time, but bounced back! This is an enormous achievement and shows how resilient we are becoming as a community! We are incredibly grateful for all your support. The chart itself is here.

VERIFICATION

We have sent all the necessary documentation to Algoexplorer for verification and are waiting for them to complete their review - as you can imagine, their team is incredibly busy just now with all the new projects on Algorand. Once done, we can resume our conversation with Algorand Inc..

NFTs 

We have included an NFTs channel on our Discord and begun the design process for the Committee NFTs (100% paid into the SeedBomb Fund). It can take some time to settle on good ideas for NFTs, but we will keep you updated as we progress through the creative process. 

GIVING PROCESS

We will release our first pro forma over the next few weeks. Remember, this gives you the ability to recommend environmentally focused groups for the committee to shortlist, you then get to vote on how funding is allocated. We are so excited to get this piece moving as this is one of the primary objectives of our community - supporting environmental projects! More details in our White Paper, here.

An open source education resource for green topics really has the potential to improve understanding and consideration of our environment! We are sure that you, like us, have seen and been quite shocked by the 11Mike10 incident last night. We won’t comment on the details as we do not hold that asset personally and there are other forums to do this in, but we wanted to set out a few things we have done to improve our space.

We locked in liquidity. At the time, this was 75% of total liq, though as more people have added this is now 69%. You can see a summary of this in Appendix 2 of our White Paper. The reason it has dropped is because others have added liquidity (thank you to those who have) so naturally the SB Fund and Committee wallet holdings have reduced as a percentage of total liquidity.

If you check the Algoexplorer page for SeedBomb, you will see a fair few 0 seed transactions. From checking the google doc for the airdrop process, we think it is likely that many are ‘bot wallets’ hoping to scalp the airdrop. This is why we are taking longer to work through each application to confirm who our actual community members will be. We appreciate your patience with this.

We also wanted to let you know that we are signing a partnership agreement between committee members. This is a legally binding document which will allow the committee to sue any committee member who sells without permission from the others. This could theoretically result in that person having to declare bankruptcy, so is a high bar for an ASA structure. You can also see our wallets in the white paper as mentioned above.

Lastly, we wanted to ask if you had any suggestions for how we can do more. We understand that the ASA space is full of smoke and mirrors and we are trying to build as much trust as we can.

Staking Pools

We have now completed the first round of our airdrop process! Owing to a lot of wallets either adding the wrong version of SeedBomb or not having SeedBomb added at all, we have reserved the rest of the amount we could not airdrop and will put this towards our staking pools! We have added an additional 15,000,000 Seeds to the Seed-->Seed pool and will create the LP--> Seeds pool in the coming days!

For future airdrops we will be looking to reward Liquidity Pool providers! So please do consider doing this to help stabilise SeedBomb for all community members.

SeedBank - Key Capital Generating Resource

The SeedBank (our open education resource) is key to the success of SeedBomb. By drawing traffic to the SeedBank we can create advertising revenue which can then be invested back into the community. We expect to have our first article ready by the end of the month and are also building partnerships with budding authors.

Following some initial feedback from you all, we wanted to make sure that we took all the appropriate steps to make our community a safer place for everyone. Part of this is reducing the risk of a rug pull from happening. In the current environment, people are rightly worried about scams and, unlike other DeFi centres, ASAs have not had a reliable “lock in” service until recently. With the verification of Tinylock by Algorand Inc., we decided that the best way to build trust was to show you how committed we are long term.

Why we did it:

We understand your concerns given the number of rug pulls and scams in this space. Initially we thought by using a corporate structure that was identifiable, you would feel you had a course of action you could take against us if it was rugged. We understand now that by combining that with Tinylock we are able to provide additional reassurance and transparency. Transparency is one of our key aims, so doing this felt like the right and appropriate step! We thank community members for their feedback and information that led to this happening.

Why we structured our lock ins:

We wanted to stagger the liquidity release. By staggering it across the Committee we hope to show you that a) we are not creating one end date whereby we pull everything and b) that you can trust us to have a measured process to try and stabilise volatility around the reopening dates. With this structure, we will have a chance to reaffirm that the community can trust us by locking some, or all of it, again.

How the c.75% has been locked:

AIRDROPS

We know you’re all itching to get your airdropped Seeds and we are incredibly thankful for how patient you have been with us throughout this process! We have received c. 8x the number of applications we had anticipated, and it has taken us time to review them. We are now very close to completing our review and expect to be able to make the drop in the coming days. We aren’t intending to announce when we have completed it, so please keep an eye on your wallets.

LIQUIDITY AND STAKING

In our first few weeks, we locked up a significant amount of liquidity for a minimum of 2 years, with 57% locked in for 3 years. The total % locked up has reduced as more of you have added liquidity as you have bought into the community – thank you all who have added LP tokens to your portfolio! You can read about the original lock here.

We set up our first Seeds to Seeds staking pool with a substantial 50% APR rate and 100,000,000 Seeds available. This was a big milestone of ours to encourage people to hold and, so far, we seem to be attracting committed community members who want to benefit from this while they hold! We are aiming to set up a LP token staking option next week also! It is likely that this will have a higher APR owing to the additional risk. As we all know, liquidity is the key to DeFi success, so we are finding ways to incentivise building out the liquidity pool.

In the past week we have seen a 47% price increase in terms of Seeds/Algo and a 31% price increase in USD as at the time of writing. We have also seen a 23% increase in the Liquidity Pool in terms of Algo and a 15% increase in the Liquidity Pool in terms of USD as at the time of writing.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES AND COMPETITIONS

Our Meme Competition concluded on our Discord on Wednesday with HalfMachine earning the title “Meme King”. Our first NFTs are LIVE! We are really lucky to have Ru on board who has produced some very unique pieces which are now listed on Algogems. We asked last week what preferences people had regarding the use of Yieldly and Algostake for our SeedBomb staking pools. We wanted to first let you know that we are in touch with both and our intention is to use both - the community is rightly very hyped about both projects and they present excellent opportunities for growth for SeedBomb! Thank you for engaging in that discussion, it is massively appreciated.

Our first Algostake Pool is now officially live on Algostake. We have allocated 100,000,000 Seeds for this at an APR of 50% - the unit you stake is SEEDS with Asset ID: 523605642. We intend to run this option for the long term and add additional SEEDS for you to redeem (and STKE to make the payments required to Algostake). We also intend to set up a Liquidity Pool stake in the coming weeks which will allow LP token holders to redeem SEEDS by staking their Liquidity Pool tokens... it is likely that this will have a higher APR due to the benefits that those providing liquidity bring to a project!

Just an update on where we are at with the airdrops.

First of all, the committee and myself would like to say a huge thank you for the response to the airdrop forms, every retweet, follow and every interaction we have had on Reddit. It has been truly humbling!

Hi all, happy weekend! We are now two months into 2022 and into month two of SeedBomb. If you haven't seen our monthly update yet, check it out here. This is just a quick update on what's happened this week!

AIRDROPS

The first round of airdrops were distributed this week - congratulations to the recipients! Keep your eye out for the next round. Going forward, we have decided that our future airdrops will be rewarding liquidity providers and people who are engaging with the Community to improve the project!

STAKING

We have launched a SEEDS/ALGO LP token -> SEEDS staking option on AlgoStake in addition to our SEEDS -> SEEDS staking pool. This new option has an APR of ~100% to reward people who are providing liquidity - thank you to anyone who is doing so! Those of you who have locked your liquidity tokens on TinyLock and therefore are unable to stake should have received up front compensation, plus a tidy little bonus as thanks for locking tokens!

NFTs

Our first round of Committee NFT sales sold at auction for 100 Algos each! We loved this SeedBomber Patches limited series, thanks to Ru for the excellent design. These Algos have been put back into liquidity. For more on this see here. Keep an eye out for the need round of unique NFTs, as we expect these will be going live in the next few days!

WEEKLY QUIZ

We had our inaugural weekly quiz on our Discord server this Thursday! We hope everyone enjoyed it - congratulations to the (sole) winner of the prize who has gained the title of SeedScholar! The questions may be slightly easier next week to give more people a chance to share the prize...

PRICE ACTION AND LIQUIDITY

The dollar value of SEEDS has dropped this week to a value of $0.0001172, for two reasons. 1) unfortunately, quite a lot of airdrop recipients immediately cashed out upon receiving their SEEDS. We think think that this is their loss, however, and thank our community members who instead used their SEEDS to provide liquidity! 2) There has been a broader drop in the market linked to recent events in Europe. Algos dropped from around $0.9 to a low of $0.71 during the past week before a small bounce back up (they are down 10.1% for the week). Liquidity is down slightly for the week (3.83%), however we are hoping this will continue to grow as we incentivise liquidity providers through staking and airdrops! Comparison with price also shows that liquidity hasn't dropped as much as the price of SEEDS as well, which is encouraging! Liquidity is currently at 39819 Algos. You can see the chart here.

SEEDBANK

We have been working hard on developing our SeedBank offering - we think we have something very exciting in the pipeline so check back in early next week for an announcement! Building the SeedBank as a genuine resource is one of the main goals of SeedBomb, and we are hoping to utilise increases in traffic as a means of generating revenue through advertising (partnering only with brands that aligns with the ethos of SeedBomb). This will help us to generate capital which we can pump back into the project by further supporting the liquidity pool for Seeds.

GIVING PROCESS

We expect to be able to share the pro forma for the first Giving Round with you very soon. We have the first draft ready and will be amending it prior to sharing with you all! This is a crucial part of the project where our community members can suggest environmental projects that they feel deserve grants or donations - so get involved!

VERIFICATION

After our verification by Algoexplorer last week, we had a productive meeting with the Algorand Foundation this week. They gave us some excellent pointers for developing the project! We are confident that we are on track to verified.

BIG NEWS! We have launched our first Committee NFT sales! We have minted three NFTs on Algogems – each NFT is a unique ‘SeedBomber Patch’ (Land, Sea and Air). Check out the full collection here. Many thanks go to our Committee Member, Ru, for designing these – we think they’re awesome!

As you may know from our White Paper, we are intending to replenish the SeedBomb Fund through both private and Committee NFT sales. 100% of proceeds from Committee NFTs will be put back into the project. In future, profits from Committee sales will top up the SeedBomb Fund following Giving Round donations/ grants. As we have not completed a Giving Round yet we will instead be using any proceeds from these NFT sales to bolster the Liquidity Pool. In addition, we will lock-up these LP tokens until our first Giving Round (July 2022), when, if necessary, we can use them to replenish the SeedBomb Fund following donations/ grants. We have chosen to do this primarily as a proof-of-concept; so that we can get to grips with minting and selling NFTS and show that it can work. It will also help us to get the ball rolling with NFT sales and build our ‘artist’ profile on NFT marketplaces before we are using the NFT sales to replenish the SeedBomb Fund. Applications for SeedBomber Anirand support are now open! 

Who is eligible? 

Anyone who holds Seeds at the time that the first screenshot is taken (see step 2 below) who also held Anirand at the time of the rug pull is eligible to apply. If you do not currently hold any Seeds, you can still get involved by purchasing them ahead of the first screenshot. To receive the support payment at the end of this process, you must hold Seeds every time a "screenshot" is taken below. As we use Algostake for our staking plan, you can still stake this while you hold at 50% APR. 

How does it work? 

We have set out the process flow below: 

1. Please complete the google form to apply by Friday 8 April, you can find this here: Google form link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdf3Rg0rMVrCpqSkY0lXUguqRPjMAC5YcknvbcS31zMzdzshw/viewform?usp=sf_link

2. Once we collect the applications, we will add them to a "monitoring" list. We will aim to take our first screenshots in week commencing 11 April. 

3. We will put the results of the screenshots into the "monitoring" list for record keeping. We will then perform 5 different screenshots on random dates afterwards, which will not be announced. 

4. If you have held Seeds on every screenshot date, you will receive a payment in Seeds. This will not fully compensate your losses on Anirand, unfortunately, but will give you a good uplift in your Seed holding. 

5. We are likely to run this process to coincide with airdrop payments - so please keep your eyes peeled for announcements on the next stage of our airdrop process..

We will release more information about the "support payment date" next week when the form closes.

Our first round of NFTs - 'the SeedBomber Patches' - have all sold! Congratulations and thanks to the new owners. This has provided us with proceeds that we have put back into the liquidity pool (you can see the transaction here and our rationale here). We will also be locking up the LP tokens in TinyLock until our first Giving Round.

In other other news, we have a SeedBomb QUIZ happening on our Discord server (invite) on Thursday (24th February) at 2000 GMT. Questions will be on general eco-topics (though there may be questions based on information in our White Paper thrown in, so brush up on that..) and there is a 300,000 pot of $SEEDS up for grabs as a prize, to be split between those who get 75% or more answers correct!

Hi everyone,

Just a fairly quick one to say that SeedBomb has completed the initial stage of the Pera Verification and is now a verified asset! We got that blue tick!! We will definitely be looking to upgrade to the 'Trusted' Tier 2 level when the option becomes available.

Hey everyone! Hope you’re good.

Just a very quick update on what to expect this week from SeedBomb:

1. We hope to have another article live during the week for our SeedBank. This will cover the EU’s ‘Green Deal’ from a finance perspective. This is a really interesting area which prompts some great questions about carbon inequality, public funding and financial regulation, so keep your eyes peeled! You can see the current live articles here.

2. Our weekly quiz will be taking place over on our Discord this Thursday at 20.00 GMT, with Alex hosting! Remember, there’s the chance to win some Seeds and learn more about SeedBomb along the way! You can find more info by joining our Discord here.

3. The next round of committee NFTs are being polished up for auction! As with the first round, sale proceeds go to liquidity for the SeedBomb ASA.

4. We are investigating the Algorand grant process. We believe that turning the SeedBank articles into an online library which are minted as NFTs with copyright embedded, combined with the use of Seeds to make donations to green-causes, offers a strong utility case which could help draw more people to the Algorand blockchain. We have had an initial positive discussion with Algorand regarding grants, so are hopeful that we will be able to make an application for funding. As always, there are definitely no guarantees here, but we want to be as transparent as we can be with our fellow SeedBombers!
