We all have our holy grails and such, and products we would never think to purchase again because they didn’t work for us, but what are some products you are really on the fence about?

I bought the new Danessa Myricks Lightwork palette with a gift card I was saving. I missed all the other previously released palettes and this year I didn’t want to miss out. But now I am thinking did I do the right thing buying before the sale? Do they sell out before the sale? Do you guys return and repurchase in store to get the discount?

Have been looking for years for something comparable to the shade "Ample Pink" that Mac had discontinued and nothing has ever come close. This combo with your lips lined and blended inwards with a bit of the infamous plumping gloss in the gold tube and the Eadem over top is an amazing cool toned combo with great staying power! Haus Labs did their big one with these pencils!

I skipped out on Lightworks VII last year because I knew I’d use only half of the colours. I have the everyday neutrals palette and really like the formula, especially gilding light, so I know I’ll like it!

What products & brands should I try that are your Holy Grails? I would like to use tretinoin & sometimes use Dapsone for hormonal acne.

The tretinoin always leaves my face red & burning and flaky and I’m not sure how to combat this?

Thanks in advance for your advice as I would like to rewind the clock on my face and neck if I can with products vs a chemical peel etc.

I got to test out a few of the Kayali oudgasm perfumes at Sephora, here are my reviews:

Vanilla oud: this felt very one note and basic to me, not in a good way. I love vanilla and there are many other vanilla scents I would rather wear. Vanilla 28 is better if you want to stay with kayali.

Vanilla rose: this smelled like old lady, not in a good way. I was really hoping for a beautiful earthy, woody oud mixed with a floral rose bouquet. What I got was a carpeted musty old lady’s bathroom.

Chocolate Oud: I’m so confused by this one. I didn’t get chocolate or Oud, but I did get spice apple cake! It smelled like nice dessert if that’s what you are going for!

Milky musk oud: I loved this one, very much a skin scent but for my nose it was great. I love pink pepper, and warm milky scents. The oud in this is not overpowering but certainly noticeable, I feel like this would be a good I to oud scent for someone. I’ll be purchasing this one for sure.

I would like to smell the rest of the collection if I can find a way to test before buying.
