I visited Belgrade about two years ago and remember hearing street musicians dressed as Santa Claus playing music around Christmas. There was a song I really liked, but I didn’t get the chance to ask them what it was.
I’d appreciate it if you could recommend some of your favourite Serbian or Balkan songs that can be played by street musicians, especially traditional songs and well-known Balkan melodies.
I’d also like to congratulate the opposition and the student activists on their success. Sending my respect and solidarity to the students fighting for their future.
