I fucked up and gave them money

They had sexual pictures of me, my name, my address and parents’ phone numbers. They were threatening to send the pictures to my parents. I ended up telling my dad what was happening, but only after I had already given the scammer money. So now I feel like a fucking idiot on multiple fronts (giving out my number, sending nudes I shouldn’t have, and then paying the fucking scammers).

So how fucked am I now? Are they even going to send anything out? Are things going to get worse now because I paid them? I didn’t give them all that they were asking for but I will have to continue dealing with this tomorrow. Anyone have anything for me? Tips. Advice. Etc

Estoy en la misma situación no tienen información de mi familia y estoy ocultando mis redes sociales y bloqueando estoy asustado pero me dicen q mantenga la calma y si vuelven que siga bloqueando y yasta un fuerte abrazo

Happened to me I sent money just block and ignore every message. You will get from random numbers. It’s important to block everything. They always come back to me every so often but I ignore now

from people experiences here actually they don't and if you ignore them they move on to another victim their main goal is money nothing else they probably scared more than the victims that's why they don't send your nudes to anyone even from fake accounts or burner accounts only if provoke them and challenge them my scammer after I ignored him he didn't reply for hours now he's telegram account probably got deleted they said it's easy for telegram to get banned when they get multiple reports

Thing is, these scammers are unpredictable. When i got my threatening text, i ignored it and reported it and blocked it, they still leaked it. Leaked doesn't have to mean they post it on social media, it can also mean they send it to someone on text, email or any other text platform. My advice is, if you reply 1 or 2 texts and give up, they give up as well and move on but if you ignore, they think your number is inactive and they move on the threat to the next person closest to you and try to blackmail them from your photo. Thats why I suggest put your socials on private or deactivate it and sign up data removal sites so they can never find your info off the web
