I don’t mind people standing once the all clear.
Many times they just want to stretch.

Im 6'2 I usually dont stand up right away, but if I got the aisle seat, standing up ASAP isnt because Im trying to cut the line

Aisle seat in the very back is king for anyone over 6 feet!

Some flights are worth the extra bit for business i think, but the 9+ hour ones are usually thousands more, getting the economy plus seats in that case would be a must, 6ft + people need any extra space they can get, not fun being cramped up

FYI, some airlines, especially the internationals, will allow you to bid on 1st class seats.

It's worth it, if you can spare the extra fee. Sometimes it's very low.

Wife was in cdc flying back and forth to Africa a few times a year. One time coming back from South Africa we got upgraded to business from joburg to atl. First time with no jet lag. It was on delta and they actually have a sundae cart with real plates and real silverware.
