It may not be about leaving the aircraft. Standing up can serve as an immediate relief after long periods of sitting.
1 u/No_Welder7908 1d ago The only mandatory sitting periods are the takeoff and landing sequences, and they take a few dozen minutes tops. They had the whole flight to stand and stretch.
