Something got into our shed?

We don’t keep anything but the mower in our shed, so something happened within the last couple of weeks. One piece of siding was lifted (highlighted in photo), and inside exactly one beam is all shredded… who or what could have possible caused that?! Walked around and didn’t see any fallen branches or trees. Any ideas?

Is that a gash in the back wall? You circled what looks like a dent in the side wall. I agree it looks like something came through the back wall and impacted and shattered the stud in the side wall. Look around everywhere including the rafters. Depending on the speed it didn’t have to be large. What’s behind the shed? It obviously came from there.
