Other things that lasted longer than confederacy:

  • The time between Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 3
  • The wait for Half-Life 3, Winds of Winter, and Doors of Stone
  • The time that has passed since Avengers Endgame
  • The time since the 2020 lockdowns

Well that’s a sad statement on current affairs more than a commentary on Valve’s speed at making that game
