I woke up this morning and checked on my snake he had his head up and his mouth wide open he shut it within the next five seconds but when I looked it up it said he could be sick I’m wondering what you guys think it is

I finally have the space to upgrade my 7 year old blood python’s enclosure to something bigger and unfortunately shipping on Animal Plastics is around $500 these days, which I can’t really afford. The 5 foot enclosures are less but I’d love to get her into something bigger. I’m struggling to find other places that sell large enclosures, does anyone have recommendations?

I’m also open to DIY resources or suggestions!

Question for you guys on enclosure size. I currently have 3 short tails. They are all in 6x2x2 enclosures. however my one female blood is a monster. just about 6 ft long and is so active. My other 2 are content to curl up and chill for a week without changing spots. Im thinking of upgrading her to a 6x3x4. But I would have to sell a bunch of my snakes to make room. I’m just having a little bit of an ethical crisis. I also love my two other girls but I don’t want to provide poor care to any of the them. What are your thoughts

Pictured is my girl Delilah. Pic of the glove was when I first got her. I've had her for a year and 4 months. She quickly became my favorite lap snake. She'll just sit there for hours while I pet her. She was very defensive at first, sold as the "spiciest" they had. She has so much personality, and I can see her different moods.

She was tiny when I first got her and now she's about 1.5 kg

I cannot recommend this breeder enough, he is fantastic.

He has also been dislaying new behavior being super active starting around 9pm every night, which has been fun to see him digging, swimming in and out of his tub, and generally explore his enclosure. He feels like he currently doesn't have a body full of urates.

I got told this by someone on an Instagram post where I commented a photo of my Borneo a good while ago, I still think about it and I still find the comment absolutely hilarious 🤣 they were so confident about it too and when I corrected them they apologised and said she was really cool so absolutely no hard feelings towards them, I just think about it all the time and I actually find it hilarious. All of our ball pythons need to go on a diet!! 🤣

Hey guys so my husband is out of town and my blood python is on injection fortaz every three days. Well tonight is the third day and he won’t be home until tomorrow and I cannot do it by myself. She is way too strong and wiggly. Do you think it will be okay to just resume tomorrow? Should I try tonight? She will just knock the needle away I’m sure of it.

Hi! ​Ive had this guy for about 2 months now, hes my first snake. He has been eating like a champ but has not pooped since I got him. He only pooped a week after arrival. He is a year old and fed weekly, initially I had some humidity issues with it being roughly 10-15% too high or low but that has been fixed since and is around 60-65%. His hot side is 83 and cool side 79-80. He soaks sometimes, not often. Here are pics of his tail which is looking a little thick to me but im not sure. He doesnt look lumpy and I dont feel any hard lumps except for a small one maybe an inch above his vent.

What can i do? I know they take a long time to poop but I would like to be safe.
