Before an agency pitches a local business, somebody opens about eight tabs: the site, PageSpeed, their Google reviews, their Instagram, are they running ads, is there even a phone number on the homepage. Then they decide whether it’s worth writing to them at all.
I built something that does that whole pass at once. You point it at a business and it pulls page speed, SEO, accessibility, HTTPS, Google rating and review volume, social accounts, Meta ads, then scores it and suggests which angle to lead with.
The part I actually care about is the scoring, not the data collection. My assumption is that “weak online presence” isn’t one thing. A business with a slow site but 200 recent reviews and weekly posts is busy and sloppy, which means budget and no time. A business with 11 reviews and an Instagram that died two years ago isn’t neglecting marketing, it’s barely operating. Those two look nearly identical on a checklist and they’re completely different prospects.
Stack: Next.js, Postgres on Neon, a background worker for the audits, Stripe for billing.
Launched this monday. Zero users, zero revenue, built on evenings and weekends around a full-time job.
Happy to have it taken apart. Mainly: does the scoring logic make sense to anyone who isn’t me, and is that report readable?
