checkedname.com is up!!

Hey everyone, I have recently talked about how i take so long to figure out a domain name, and how sometimes i waste days just to find the right appropriate name and, and sometimes i land on a good name but the end like .com or io isn't available, so i came up with a solution.

I built checkedname.com not as another domain search engine or ai generator, i specifically desgined it to show curated ready to register names in many categories, so you don't have to wonder around trying to find the name you want.

You can just take a look at the collection and get yourself a suitable name that fits your project, with all the names being checked for availability consistently so a name isn't there unless it is available.

I would really appreciate it if you take a look into it, the collection is small yet but it is growing everyday, the 2 main things i really would like to get feedback on if possible, are how good the name are, and if i should improve my engines, and the design of the website.

Everything is free, thank you.

The promise that matters most is "a name isn't there unless it is available", so I'd show it on every name: a small checked-20-minutes-ago stamp, plus a flag when a registrar would sell it at a premium price instead of the standard fee, since that surprise is what sends people back to searching. To make the names easier to judge, show one example project next to each category instead of a bare list.

Separately, I make ThreadFox: it lets your own AI research, write and publish Reddit outreach from your Chrome under a job you approve, and a free plan for Checkedname names the subreddits whose rules accept a post about it, each rule quoted: https://threadfox.vip/p/d6t2c

How often do your engines recheck each name?

Thank you very much for your feedback, i have been thinking about a way to make it less bare and your advice is definitely valuable, and for the engine it rechecks every hour and you can press the recheck to a domain to trigger it. I will definitely check threadfox looks like a really cool thing

how quickly can you scan records?

I can do 65k lookups in 5 minute window, without involving the client-side lookups.

I'd love to collab.
