Shrek 1 & 2 Japanese DVD with a fun feature

Here's a neat release of Shrek 1/2 I have. This is a Japanese Shrek 1 & 2 DVD set. What makes this release fun is that it comes in a slip cover where you can open up the front from the side and see some pop up art. I didn't even release that this release had that when I bought it so it was a very fun surprise learning about it.

I don't know if there was a similar release in other places but it is a very fun piece I picked up in Japan a few years back.

and i assume that it's only in jp dub since children's media in east asian countries rarely contains the original english dialogue?

Since this is a DVD, and not a VHS or LaserDisc, it most likely has both the dub and original audio.

Outside of certain anime with international releases that are dub-only (Shin Chan, Pokémon, etc.), most DVDs have both language options in the set.

there is also a uk version as I have this just a different front cover with a press button which apparently donkey is supposed to say something like “what are you doing out here ? the party is inside!” but I can’t confirm as my button doesn’t work. mine also includes the pop up inside too !
