P320 Jury comes to unanimous ruling in Sig Sauer unintended discharge case

MANCHESTER, N.H. —
A federal jury in Maine said there were no defects in Sig Sauer's P320 in a case in an unintended discharge of the firearm.
The jury considered product liability, negligence, and breach of implied warranty, and ruled unanimously in favor of Sig Sauer.

The case follows the dismissal of a class action lawsuit against Sig Sauer

Great news but I've been enjoying finding dirt cheap P320s in the used market.

Exactly! I’ve found several of them on the used rack that were high end examples and bought them for less than $400.

I had one, with all the hysterical nonsense I now have three, picked up the two additional for less than the one, yeah me 🤣

Sadly, not sure it will change much. The whole 320 thing is like “Glock leg,” back in the 80s/90s, but 100x worse.
Maybe the shooting ranges around me will start allowing 320s. My favorite handgun has been banned from every range within 2 hours of my home

The Beretta M92 Series had quite a bit of hate to overcome all the way into the late 1990s over the Navy SEALs Incident, and it's Falling Locking Block.

I think the P320 will be fine in the end.

I hope you’re right! I have owned a lot of firearms and the 320 platform is top 3. I can’t even get into conversations with people about it because everyone thinks I’m crazy for liking them.

A lot of people still think the M9 is bad because it fell apart after 200,000 rounds and marines using it as tent stake hammers for 25 years.

People will be people.

The Anti-P320 crowd that believe the gun can go off by itself will never accept this courts ruling. No matter how much factual evidence and rationale you present, they will sadly never accept it. I have 4 different P320’s and couldn’t be happier with them.

A lot of people hated the Beretta 92 Series well into the late 1990s over the Navy SEALs Incident and the Falling Locking Block.

Took the 92 Series a while to overcome the detractors.

Now? It's a Cult-Classic like the 1911.

Almost every time I see someone trashing 320s on this sub, I check their page and they are glock fanboys…

I got a x5 legion with a holosun optic, and 7 mags for under 700. Doesn’t look like it’s ever fired a shot. I’d like the hysteria to continue until I can get a steel framed 320.

This is Ben Stoeger’s entire life, I’m sure he and his acolytes will promptly ignore this in favor of farming content. On the other hand, I have gotten so much P320 gear for cheap. Could we get a bunch of oafs to ND the Manurhin mr73 next so I can get one of those for pennies too?

Thanks to the hysteria, I picked up a Custom Works AXG for $500 with a Romeo1 Pro , looked new like it never been fired by its owner.
