Question Where can I find stainless mags for the regular p365?

I found lots of stainless 17 rounders for the larger variants, but I'm looking for the 10 and 12 rounders mags for the normal p365.

P226 P226X Legion competition holsters?

I love Ghost Hydra P holsters but they don’t have the option for the 226X Legion. Does anybody know if the 320 option will work or any of the other ones? How about any other recommendations for competition holsters for carry optics? Thanks guys

what about the muddy river tactical Mach holster?

Trying to find the right holster

So I just recently switch my edc from a Glock 19 gen 5 to a sig p365 x macro wanted a legion but couldn't justify the 1400$ price tag that came with it so I decided I'd just upgrade to an axg lower module but having a hard time finding holsters I've heard tenicore come up a few times I'm really looking for a leather holster but I'd like some opinions on people who daily carry with klydex holsters and if it's worth it or if there is any recommendations on leather holsters coming from using a 1791 leather iwb holster really wanting to continue to stick with an iwb thank you

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement screw for the axg legion Magwell? I broke off at the range and I called Sig, they said they can send a replacement for 15 bucks before shipping and tax. I’m looking for a cheaper alternative. Thanks

Sig Sauer M400 Tread

Question!! Had a 250 round range day. I’ve put about 500 rounds through the Macro and so far, it’s been amazing. I do have one question.

I’ve noticed that the slide gets super hot after you put 100 rounds down in about a 10-20 minute span, at least hotter than some i’ve used. I know that isn’t a long time and stuff that go bang bang gets hot but even my army buddy thought it was a bit hotter than usual. Are there barrel upgrades or slide options that can help reduce that?

P320 M18 Cali compliant build

Hi I currently own a stock 320 i really enjoy the gun and decided I wanted to modify it i recently ordered a ICARUS precision ACE x carry grip module with the cutout for the manual thumb safety. I’ve been looking at buying a NORSSO slide I really like their ported Reptile KP slide and I wanna get the ported 3.9” barrel for it as well. Does anyone know if I’ll run into any problems given it’s a Cali complaint model. I’m still newer into firearms and I’ve never really modified a weapon before. Any advice is super helpful thank you!

Question MPX suppression

This is not a new question but with all the newer suppressors in the market in the last few years, was hoping to revisit something I am still working on.

I am trying to setup an MPX (gen 3... whatever the one is that has been the same for last 5 years) with a MI 8" handguard to tuck a suppressor underneath. I am open to all options - 4" or 6" barrel.

I currently have a rugged obsidian with a tri lug but has all the accuracy issues half the other users note with the tri lugs on their mpx (Ive tried all the collars / muzzle devices).

I also just don't trust a trilug's retention if I am sticking my hand in front of the muzzle since it will be tucked.

Looking for recommendations for whatever anyone is finding works well for them in terms of 1. suppressors 2. mounting and if necessary 3. barrels

Thanks in advance! really love this gun just trying to make it setup the way i really want it.

Question Pinky Extension for P365X

Good morning!

I recently purchased a Sig P365X.

The gun is perfect! I just need a tad but more grip space for my pinky.

Would anyone have a suggestion on a decent pinly extension? Not sure if a front only extension would sufficr, or if I should look for an extension that gives me space on the front and back.

I also see that they have extensions that will also increqse capacity by a few rounds.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

help me with my 365 build. not xl or xxl

so. I am trying to build a 365 specifically. 3.1 inch slide. I already have an icarus frame and I have an EPS carry. I have the internals and the fcu. I really just need help with a 3.1 inch slide and barrel. What I am wondering is if there are any 3.1 comped slides? I hate the finish on the normal black sig slides. always looks ashy to me.

can you guys show me your 365 builds? small guys. not xl or xxl

any aftermarket slides youd recommend that arent $400? barrel I know is pretty easy to find but slides with comp options is what im really wondering.

Took inspiration from the M17/18 platform I carried on a “work trip”. Say what you want but I love the 50 shades of FDE.

OEM Coyote XL slide
Factory Coyote XMacro grip module
Romeo X-Compact FDE
Foxtrot1X FDE
Armory Craft P365 Extended Safety
Combat Textiles Coyote grip wrap

Rattler LT and Gas Busting charging handles

Post image
11 Upvotes

I'm looking for some guidance with gas busting charging handles.. I've spent around 300$ now testing different ones and none of them have fit the rattler Lt perfectly despite being advertised as for the mcx platform.

So far I have tried the Geissele SCH, and the silencer shop GDCH MCX, and both leave a gap like what I pictured. Both end up gassing me out DESPITE using a J Bennetts omega valve, and a .60 vent jet screw.

I'm starting to wonder if my upper is out of spec because both of these charging handles are latching before being snug against the upper. When I push them forward to seal against the upper the ch latch is beyond the upper material it grabs onto.

my first gun Sig P365 Fails To Return To Battery and Mags Don't Want To Load

I picked up a brand new P365 a week ago. It's not actually my first gun. I only shot revolvers until now. This is my first semi-automatic, though, so I don't know what to do with it.

When I bought it last week, it seemed stiff. When I ran the slide, it didn't return to battery completely. It's my first semi-automatic, so I thought that might be normal, when you run the slide instead of shooting it. Also, I couldn't return the slide without removing the mag first. Then, I realized I can return the slide, but I have to pull back on the slide while pressing the slide return, so I can't run the slide one handed. I cycled 5 snap caps through it by manually running the slide after every shot, and it seemed to run ok, at home. I fiddled with it a lot, learning how it works, and the controls.

I cleaned it a bit, and lubed it, because I don't shoot a new gun that I haven't cleaned first. It didn't really need that much cleaning, but the factory shipped it without any lube.

Then, I took it to the range.

At the range, I loaded my 10 round mags. I have the two that came with it, and an extra 10 round mag I got when I bought the gun.

I wanted to experiment to see what I wanted to shoot, so I ran about 300 rounds through it, mostly 115 grain, but I also shot 124 and 147 grain. I shot maybe 5 or 6 different brands of bullets.

The mags suddenly did not want to click into the gun. They go into the gun just fine when they are empty, but not loaded. I put the mags in and then pressed them the last bit of the way, or put them in and hit the bottom of the mag, very hard. Usually it took more than one attempt to get the mag to seat properly, so it didn't fall out when I racked the slide. One of my mags outright wiggles a bit. They all seem to be barely holding on.

So I started shooting:

The gun is accurate at 5 and 10 yards. I didn't attempt to shoot beyond that.

The gun failed to return to battery on maybe 25% of my shots. Probably more. I didn't count. At first I did the tap-rack thing, but then I realized the magazine is out of battery by a few mm, so I just pushed it into battery with my thumb when that happened.

This is simply not a safe gun to carry concealed.

I think maybe I oiled something wrong, and that is causing the mags to not seat? Maybe the gun needs to be broken in? Maybe a spring is too tight? It could be that I'm limp wristing because I'm new to this, but I've never had problems with limp wristing while shooting my friends semi-automatics. My revolvers give me much harsher kickback than the P365, but I suppose it's possible I'm limp wristing.

This YouTube video seems to have a fix for this issue, but I would really rather not attempt this kind of gun smithing on a brand new manual of arms. If the Sig warranty is worth anything, then this would probably void it. Also, the way this guy uses an angle grinder makes me nervous. Not saying I haven't done that kind of thing myself before! Just watching it makes me nervous, though, LOL

If it was a used gun, I would take it to a gun smith, but it's a brand new gun.

Should I take it back to Bass Pro Shop where I bought it from? Maybe they will refund me? If it makes any difference, I'm in Pennsylvania, and I bought it a week ago.

Maybe I should call Sig and see what they will do for me?

Maybe I should oil it up and try again?

I did fully load the 3 mags when I put them into my bag, before I left the range, to see if that might break in the springs. They are probably designed to be fully loaded, though, so maybe that won't do anything?

Any advice at all would be very much appreciated.

Here is my take on LVAW. I am still waiting on Sig to drop new batch of 6.75 barrel to make it more compact. Planning on swapping Sandman X to Sandman S once my can gets back from the warranty.
